Two night stay watching Coldplay

Posted 22-Jun-2016
Holiday Inn Wembley is in a great location for Wembley Stadium events and we enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast was awesome with plenty of choices and the bar area was pretty cool to hang out in. Room was comfortable and clean. Can't really think of any real negatives to be fair and it holds up pretty well against the Wembley Hilton and Novotel close by.

Pros: Hotel reception staff very helpful
Cons: Cleanliness of leisure club.
Location: A few minutes from Wembley stadium and a great shopping centre
Hotel reception staff lovely, room lovely. Leisure club filthy, felt like I needed another shower after using it. Parking charge outrageous if there is an event going on at Wembley, dont get caught out like us - check the events going on and be prepared to pay £50 for 1 nights parking if you want to leave your car past 11am.

Could be better

Posted 12-Apr-2016 on Hotels
We had booked single beds for our two children which we put down when we booked, as they are 15 & 16 boy and girl not really appropriate to sleep in the same bed anymore, we booked well over a month ago and only received an email the night before we were due to book in telling us they don't do single beds. So when I got there as everything else for our trip was now booked and paid for. I told them this was not our problem and they need to sort out, which they did they gave us a separate room with single beds and a joining door, the staff were nice towards the end but not so at the beginning, we booked this hotel because it had pool facilities etc, the female changing area was always dirty we used it twice during our stay, and when you come out of the changing area you have to walk down a spiral staircase which is not good as the floor is wet and slippy, these steps were always dirty both days we used them they had hood on them, on the plus side the pool water was warm the jacuzzi is part of the pool so not as hot as I would have liked It's very close to train and tube stations. And there is an outlet shopping area less than 2 mins walk were we ate sometimes overall I would stay here again if I couldn't find a better hotel with a better pool area as the rooms were clean and comfy

Good location. Greedy exploitation on car park fee

Posted 06-Apr-2016 on Hotels
1 Sunday night stay for Wembley visit. 2pm Check-in meant we had to do it after the Wembley event. Car park was £10/day rest of week but they increased it to £25 on Sunday because of Wembley event!! Room was adequate, breakfast was nice and overall hotel & location was Ok for our visit purpose, but the increased parking fee exploitation is my main memory of this visit.

room ready when we arrived at 11 which was great, as i have coeliac disease I asked about gluten free breakfast and was told no problem, room comfortable relatively quiet (bin men at 5.45 but wouldn't matter where you are that has to happen)we were on the ninth floor, the rewards floor apparently! overall excellent!
