Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Awkward
Everything about this place was a little awkward. When we went to the room we found there were no towels or toilet roll and there was no heating. The room was cold and we soon found out that the radiators had all been switched off. It was almost like the room had not been prepared properly. It was awkward to get a dinner reservation, it was awkward getting menus, drinks……the room was small and everything was overpriced for what it was. This place could be amazing. The staff are all nice - just need some proper customer experience direction.
Lovely old building, tastefully modernised. Pleasant, friendly staff. Our standard room was quite small but comfortable. Nice bathroom with good shower. Everything was very clean. Great location, minutes walk to the train station and town centre with river and canal walks on our doorstep.
Lovely hotel right by the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our evening meal was delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, but all safety/ cleaning measures in place for COVID-19 made us feel very comfortable. We will be back!
We had a lovely post-lockdown trip. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner by the river in the evening. The room was small but perfectly formed!
Staff were incredible, friendly and efficient. Food was 5 star, area gastro pub/hotel. With finishing touches that made all the difference. Would deffo' stay here again. In fact trying to find an excuse to go there again.
Had a great overnight stay at Timbrells Yard. The restaurant was exquisite and the room and general feel of the place was warm, cosy and inviting. The decor was lovely and I had a really lovely experience.
Clean, well kept and decorated. We didn't feel too welcome during our stay, it felt as if with we had to make the effort to get good customer service rather than get frowned upon. Eventually as we did feel comfortable interacting with the first receptionist, the next day it all started again with another person and it made us feel unwanted as quests. A hotel with no breakfast was a big surprise, didn't even occur to us to check that information as one would expects breakfast is standard.
Everything about this Hotel was wonderful and welcoming! From the perfect Location to the lovely Staff. With special thoughtful touches, such as a full set of Beautiful Bathroom Accessories and a a little Gift -Basket with all sorts of lovely nic-nacs for our two little dogs, that were made to feel as important and cared for as the human guests. The Restaurant was great too with delicious food served all day!! 🐾
Lovely boutique hotel. Very central for Bradford-on-Avon, and just a short walk to the train station. We had an upper floor room with river view. Great interior decor. Large comfy bed, quality bedding and soft fluffy towels. Good tea and coffee making facilities with fudge and fresh milk provided. Beautiful range of toiletries. Good bar downstairs. Nice restaurant. Friendly helpful staff.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great staff, lovely place. Great food. Bradford-on-Avon is a fantastic place. Hotel and bar is lovely by the river
Everything was very good except the breakfast prices £10-50 + £4-00 for coffee +£1-90 for orange juice extra for toast, cereal etc etc. Surely for guests there should be a seperate tariff for a breakfast! Because of these prices we had breakfast elsewhere on the second morning .
The itemised breakfast would put me off returning. The Sunday lunch that we had was mediocre. The mixed starter was very beige and bland expect for the terrine.
Check was a nightmare as I thought my bill seemed high. I was given the receipts to check but an itemised bill was not available until I had paid!!! One of the receipts did not correlate with anything I had eaten or drunk and was at 11.06 when I was certain I hadn't signed for anything. After 10/15 minutes another member of staff came to help. She managed to print out an itemised bill which proved that I was correct! I had been charged for someone else's account. Not a good end to our stay.
