"The room we had was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with all local fresh produce. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely stay there again, without question. Very impressed and they have made it a very homely and welcoming place to stay."

"Premises are located in a good location to all amenities, well presented, staff service was good, gym pool area facilities were really good and easyly accessible. Food was very good and staff member Gabbi’s ( young lady seamed of Latin nationality with brown hair) service was excellent as she was very polite and happy to make sure we got our breakfast choice and made our dining experience very joyful. We wish her the best in her career with your hotel. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we required. Staff at main check in desk were also very friendly and helpful We hope to return soon"

"We chose The Cotswolds Hotel and Spa for our honeymoon. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a junior suite overlooking the golf course, thank you. Some reviews we read prior to our visit were very negative, but we cannot fault the cleanliness of the room and public areas, they were spotless. Yes, some of the furniture in the room is a little dated, but the public areas were fresh and modern. As we are having a very warm summer, many previous visitors had commented on the rooms not being air conditioned, so we took our own tower fan with us. However, there was a lovely big fan in the room that also helped. The staff were extremely friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. My husband played the golf course twice and really enjoyed it. We hired a golf buggy for one of the rounds which was in excellent condition, it seemed to be brand new. Unfortunately the treatments were all booked up, so we cannot comment on these. We can highly recommend the pizzas, they were delicious. If you are having breakfast, the busy time mid week seemed to be between 8 and 8.30, it is much quieter either side of these times. The hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring the Cotswolds, we visited Bourton on the Water, Stow on The Wold, The Diddly Squat Farm Shop and Belnheim Palace (all within 30 minutes or less to the hotel). We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the Cotswolds. Thanks to all the team for a lovely visit."

"The hotel was exactly as I thought it would be - a typical country pub with rooms. It was clean, had everything you need and was in an amazing location. The room itself was very reasonably priced, as were drinks and food."

"Stayed here for one night to enjoy the Cotswolds and The Lansdowne was excellent. We stayed in Room 15 which was essentially on the ground floor, so was great not to take bags upstairs. Location to the main attractions and facilities in the town was great. The included breakfast was delicious, and the on-site parking a bonus. Would highly recommend this lovely establishment"

"Obviously it’s a great hotel but the staff went above and beyond. From the night receptionist when we pulled in on Friday night after a nightmare 7 hour drive, to the manager (I believe…) who rewarded our toddler’s politeness with a bubble blower toy, we couldn’t have had a more wonderful stay. We will absolutely be back, and soon!"
