The Stag at Stow
"Well located right in the Market Square. Very old but beautifully appointed with all the modern conveniences including a robust WiFi and massive free-standing tub n shower. We were on an upper floor and getting there (with luggage) was challenging. The host escorted us (and helped with the bags) the first time up, as the route is quite convoluted. Pub and dining were also excellent. Would stay there again. Nothing to do with the Stag, but Uber may not come to Stow-on-the-Wold. (They didn’t for us as we planned to leave. Host suggested bus to train and trains to destination)"

The local market runs on the second Thursday of each month from 9.30am to 1pm and is well worth visiting to pick up local produce, crafts and gifts.
