8/10 Good
"Wonderfully friendly staff with great energy. The rooms are simple, but easy for a quick stopover. Go for the food at the Diner!"
The Swans Nest Hotel

"Stayed Friday and Saturday last week Negatives first sugars in the dirty tea and coffee holders were empty, old sugar not been cleaned and bathroom fan very dirty, Positives room was actually nice loved the shower good view and fantastic location our first visit to Stratford and we both loved it want to come back and will probably stay here again"
The Holt Hotel
8/10 Good
"Arrived a little early to be able to check in so went for lunch in the bar which was excellent value and very tasty. On checking out room we found we were at the front facing the road which for us was too noisy so we asked to move, initially we were told No but he checked again a found us a room which was much quieter. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. We decided to eat in the restaurant and again the meals Were very nice and good value. The hotel Was overall good value for money, and the staff friendly and helpful, the only comment on the cleanliness would be to maybe change or clean the carpets in the corridors as they looked dirty."
Whately Hall
8/10 Good
"The hotel is very authentic, with wooden floors through out, steeped in history and very charming. The location is excellent if you do not have a car at your disposal, and the area has lots to see and find to do, will definately be visiting the area , and most probably the hotal again."
Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford
8/10 Good
"Nice breakfast, nice room, convenient location"
Cotswolds Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"We were given an upgrade to larger room which was ok..but lots of stairs , as third floor and both over 60 lol but appreciated the extra space . Hotel was in good place for visting other places. The meal we had in the restaurant was yummy , i had the fish and chips and hubby had the burger. But breakfast not so good, bacon was hard as was streaky and it was a mix for scrambled egg which was not very nice , tin mushrooms and tomatoes needed cooking longer and sausage and hash brown was ok and beans .Fruit salad was basic was melon and apple maybe 5 grapes sliced in half in it . After restauant being so good was shocked with breakfast feeling so cheap. You also had bread for toast and spreads and yogs and cereal and usuall drinks."
Holiday Inn Oxford by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent stay. Grigori (sorry if I have your name wrong!) was lovely when we checked in and gave 5 star service. Our room was huge and spotless, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was well worth the cost and was very nice. Rooms have aircon and blackout curtains for excellent sleeping conditions. Don’t bother prebooking parking, there’s plenty of signs and a kiosk to pay inside. It’s £8 a day and you can come and go as you please. You can walk to the park and ride to get the bus into Oxford, it cost £9 for 2 people return. We will definitely return to stay at the Holiday Inn Oxford next time we come down here."
The Grosvenor Hotel
8/10 Good
"Clean room and easy check in. Some dated parts but for the low price it was great for 1 night stay."
The Lygon Arms

"Helpful staff"
