"This hotel was booked at the last minute and what a good gind it was. Parking on site. Friendly staff to welcome you at reception. Great breakfast. Easy walk into the town center. The room was clean and tidy, with sufficient tea and coffee. I have only given it 4 out of 5 rather than 5 for the following reasons. No bedside/reading lights, and also no ability to turn the main lights out from your bed. It may have been just our room, but there shower was rather lacking a bit of pressure. Despite all of this, if I was visiting Stratford-upon-Avon again I would consider booking this hotel again"

The pretty town of Stow-on-the-Wold lies in the North Cotswolds and is a popular base for those exploring the area. The town may have retained its quaint charm, but with regular buses running to Cheltenham and Cirencester, it's well connected to the rest of Gloucestershire too, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday. Accommodation in Stow-on-the-Wold ranges from chain hotels to historic inns and independent hotels, so there's something on offer to suit all budgets.
Stay Close to Stow-on-the-Wold's Attractions
There's plenty to see and do in the town and the surrounding area, whether you're enjoying a romantic break for two or escaping on a family holiday. The local market runs on the second Thursday of each month from 9.30am to 1pm and is well worth visiting to pick up local produce, crafts and gifts. If you prefer antiques shopping, you'll find Tudor House Antiques and Durham House Antiques are both renowned in the area, and it's easy to spend a whole afternoon browsing their wares. With most hotels offering free self-parking, it's easy to get from A to B without worrying about finding a parking space, although during the day the local bus service is pretty reliable.
