"A fantastic setting, by the river Avon over looking a weir, nice sound and wildlife to watch. Very warm welcome, spotless, crisp bed linen and very comfortable. Well finished and clean bathroom and kitchen with ample tea, coffee and milk in fridge. Excellent food with a choice to suit all tastes and largely locally sourced. Staff very helpful and pleasant, all in all great value for money and a good place to relax. Would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed for 3 nights as we were visiting Oxford for the Literary Festival. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The guest house was very clean and felt newly refurbished. We parked on site. There were frequent buses into town which made it a very convenient place to stay. There are also shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Recommended."

"Laura and Graham were absolutely wonderful and most helpful. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had; everything was so fresh and of top quality. The property itself is absolutely stunning; we were easily able to walk in to the main city centre along the scenic river route. The welcome guide in the room gave some fantastic recommendations of what to do in the area and we only wish we’d stayed for more than one night, so we could check them all out. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay...

"Stayed in the balcony room, was absolutely fantastic, so spacious and comfortable, had a mini kitchen with microwave and all equipment you could need for a short stay. Excellent location to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking available outside, approx £4 for 2 hours, but from 6pm - 8am it is free, we got up at 8am to put a ticket on just in time before the Traffic Warden arrived so be aware of this. Only issue we had was that you are unable to control the heating in any way. Room was cold...
