"Check in was smoothe Sandra very helpful and leann very helpful re check out. Breakfast was amazing! The pool steam room and sauna very nice the only thing is that the lockers didn’t work that well would be better with keys or padlock. Food was good it was a lovely hotel and the location was convenient in centre between Gloucester and Cheltenham."

"The hotel is very good and should be excellent. Unfortunately, it is let down in one area, the restaurant. We had issues at breakfast on both mornings as did others seated around us. I would describe the breakfast as “chaos”. It is a shame because aside from that the hotel is very good. The check in staff were excellent and the spa is more than adequate."

"I had an overall pleasant stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham. The hotel is set in a lovely, peaceful location with beautiful grounds, making it a relaxing place to stay while still being conveniently located for Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswolds. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was straightforward. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bed was particularly comfortable. However, there were a couple of areas that could have been better. The water pressure in the shower was quite weak and could definitely have been stronger. I also noticed some dust around the toilet area, so a little more attention to detail when cleaning the bathroom would have been appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel comfortable and relaxing. With a few improvements to the bathroom cleanliness and shower pressure, it would have been an even better experience."

Dinner was a little disappointing (had the buttermilk chicken burger) which felt as if it had been pre-prepared/defrosted and reheated. May have just been an unlucky experience as generally the food reviews are very good and the breakfast was truly excellent and very fresh. Husband's burger was good. Staff very pleasant. We had a waterside suite which looked over the cricket pitch at the back so was quiet. Used it as a base to start the Thames Path walk at its source near Kemble."
