The house was on a great stretch of the San Juan and my husband and kids fly fished successfully for rainbow and brown trout on the private stretch of river right behind the house. This location fills the bill. It is spacious and well set up. The kitchen is fully functional and well provisioned. This is important since you will almost certainly need to cook since the only restaurant nearby, the Sportsman, is opened Wednesday-Sunday and Aztec is a long drive. Home is very well stocked with everything you need we did do alot of home cooking and had everything we needed. Our only issue was the Fan in master bedroom was broken. The area is beautiful the kids loved seeing the deer n turkeys. We will definitely be back just not the same time of year, alot of cotton from the cotton woods in the river so it was a bit difficult to fish the san Juan river. Master bath -my husband vacuumed loose sawdust in vent, to prevent fire. Poor maintenance outside.Home is tired. Clean linens. Plug shorted on light when we tried to use it. We used this as a corporate getaway option, as opposed to several hotel rooms, and it proved to be a great way to enjoy the San Juan and team build at the same time. The river was a bit high during our stay, but we had a blast, slept well and enjoyed each other's company. All around a very clean and functional house for our needs.
