A beautiful charming & characterful detached single storey cottage in a stunning part of the Forest of Dean on the outskirts of Blakeney village. Workshop Cottage is nestled in a picturesque valley with its meandering brook and spectacular woodland backdrop. It offers the best of both worlds - the privacy and seclusion of a rural location, but with the convenience of being only a 15 minute walk from Blakeney village.

Recently converted to a very high standard with exposed stone work, oak beams & tasteful decor, Workshop Cottage is a beautifully appointed cottage in an idyllic location. Inside, the cottage is light, airy and spacious. The accommodation includes a king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom, open plan living including sofa bed, dining area, woodburning stove, TV and a fully equipped modern kitchen (oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine/tumble dryer). The cottage has the benefit of fibre WiFi, Smart TV with Freeview and a bluetooth speaker system.

The cottage offers privacy, peace and quiet with beautiful views from the living, bedroom and kitchen areas overlooking the idyllic island gardens.

Outside, the cottage has its own private terrace by the brook and is surrounded by wildlife. The cottage also benefits from access and enjoyment of the island orchard and the sun loungers and summer gazebo.

The cottage has its own private patio area with charcoal BBQ and outdoor seating area, perfect for relaxing and eating alfresco. In addition to the private patio area, visitors also have full access to the ¾ acre island orchard and grounds the sun loungers and summer gazebo where you can relax by the babbling brook which meanders by. The grounds are shared with our shepherd hut which can booked together with the cottage to accommodate up to 6 people.

Workshop Cottage has its own parking place onsite.

During the winter months, the woodburning stove forms an integral part of the cottage's heating system in conjunction with radiators/underfloor heating.
