Pros: There was very little to like.
We took our granddaughters for a break in Blackpool .The hotel was very poor the room needed cleaning better ,curtain hooks were broken which left curtains hanging loose . Window would not close and if that was not bad enough the put me up campbed my granddaughter was to sleep in was broken and kept collapsing. When we asked at the bar for snacks we were told they stopped selling them early evening. A games room was advertised but was told it had been vandalised several months ago . Breakfast was poor and the dining room needed smartning up carpets needed hoovering and cleaning in many places. The furniture in the lounge was badly ripped in places. This was such a surprise as the standard of hotel was so different from when we came for a conference in the 80s and it was one of the best hotels in Blackpool.

I did not enjoy my experience here. I took my 2 young children with me. The room was dirty..What I thought was 2 double beds was a double bed and creaky camp beds. The atmosphere was not great,it was very run down. The staff when I complained looked at me as if I was stupid. We didnt have a view out the window. it was frosted glass and it was a wall at the other side. the drains in the bathroom were really stinking. they smelled so bad. We had pigeons nesting between our window and the wall which stink and were really noisy. It was 18-19 degrees and they still had the heating on. Was the worst experience of my life. Brittania Hotels should be horrified.

Definitely get value for your money, it's clean though the furnishings are a little dated, apart from that it's good, would definitely stay again

DOGS!

Pros: Nice room.
Cons: No DOGS.
Location: Picked for quiet location to no avail.
We stayed for 1 night on 30 April 2017 and we're kept awake by a dog barking, howling and scratching. After complaining to reception, noise quietened but started again so we got no sleep.

Although this was a very clean room and bathroom couldnt fault that, the downside for me was that the room was like a sauna with Windows that didnt open.it ruined my stay!!i woke up feeling delirious and sick with migraine, I was sat on the hotel steps like a zombie trying get some fresh air first thing in the morning..upon leaving by the time we got into the centre of Blackpool I was back to normal.everything else was lovely but couldnt of stayed more than 1 night sadly.
