Perfect 3,300 sq. ft. bay front home with fantastic water views from every room nestled in gated, 21 home community. Two master suites, upgraded finishes. Enjoy gas grill, multiple decks, whirlpool tubs, commercial grade wireless internet and lots of flat screens. This is home base for those who languish by the pool, want steps to the unspoiled beach or seek a water oriented setting. Come with high expectations. The house is offered on a limited basis, primarily during the peak season and select holiday periods. It is maintained to the standards of a second home, not a public vacation rental. We not only maintain, but return a large portion of rental income each year to improve the home and our client's experience stay. Start your day in the bay front, screened in porch area, enjoying your beverage while watching the waterfowl play in the bay. A large kitchen with island creates not only an easy stop for breakfast, but a gathering place - coupled with the open floor plan, every seat in the public areas of the first floor enjoy the unspoiled bayfront view through four sliding glass doors. A new composite deck system spans the entire rear of the home, making for the perfect barbeque lunch - of course, gas grill and propane furnished and ready. Chaise lounges and bistro tables supplement the outside seating for everyone's use throughout the day. Not one, but two oversized master bedrooms each with king sized beds and walk in closets are available to the guests - each with their own private bathroom. Second floor, front bedrooms enjoy the tranquility of a natural lagoon within 50 feet of the home. Throughout the day, birds and other wildlife are seen in their natural habitat. We hope we have thought of everything ... So our guests never have a disappointment, a beach buggy, complete with cooler, large storage area and rack with five beach chairs are available for guest use. While only 250 steps from the home to the unspoiled beach, you may also concede to the large, uncrowded pool located within a one-minute walk of the home. Plenty of chaise lounges, tables and sunbrellas along with professional landscaping offer a lazy oasis from reality. The community supports only 21 luxury homes, so amenities are never crowded. Our home sits on nearly a one-half acre parcel, with large, professionally manicured rear year - perfect for volleyball or any family oriented game. The proximity to the towns of Bethany, Dewey and Rehoboth are reachable by bike or by vehicle and support the lifelines of McDonalds as well as one of a kind bistros and casual, fine dining venues. Delaware is home to tax free shopping and the three large outlet malls offer plenty of upscale furnishings, designer clothing (Michael Kors, Coach, Underarmor to name a few). The Indian River inlet marina offers: \- charter boat fishing \- launch for private vessels and watercraft \- a marina store where you can choose the catch coming off the boat, have it filleted and bring it home for dinner with minutes. Lovely, well stocked house, with great views was very comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and was perfect for teaching our grandson to ride a bike. The beach is 1 minute drive with ample parking. Our rental was an excellent opportunity to get together with our family after being confined for so long. The neighborhood felt safe and expanded our world. We rented kayaks from Coastal Kayak for the week enjoying the bay and wildlife. Our only dissappointment was the pool not being open. The pictures don't do it justice! It's well stocked with a beautiful view, and the "feel" of the house is spacious, yet informal. The house was spacious and well accommodated for our family of 10 (plus the new baby). Beautiful views on both sides, but relaxing on the back deck after dinner, watching the bay go to sleep, was a favorite activity of the week. The house was convenient to the beach, and the pool/tennis courts were never crowded and presented a great alternative for the little kids. From start to finish, the owner was extremely helpful and a sincere pleasure to work with - we were able to focus on enjoying our vacation. We especially liked the generous amount of common area space inside and outside (deck & screened in porch) to accommodate our large group. The community facilities were also very nice, especially the pool. Views of the bay were wonderful. It was much nicer than any previous rental properties we have used. Bob was quickly responsive to any questions or issues that arose. The only drawback was the highway crossing to get to the beach was quite busy at times without a crossing light though it might have been worse during the July 4th week. The photos did not capture how spacious and open the home is. Truly, this is a beautiful property. Stunning views thought out. It was very clean. The location is perfect. We were able to go down to Ocean City, Fenwick, and up to Rehoboth with no traffic issues and come back to the quiet retreat that is this area. Having the use of beach gear was such a help and being a very short walk (doable with over 4 children all under the age of 10) from the beach was lovely. Our family vacation consisted of a total of 7, 2 adults and 5 children, ranging from 7-16\. The bed and bath accommodations were perfect. The rooms are very spacious, the number of bathrooms were plentiful. The location is perfect, the water view was very serene, the deck allowed for extra space and additional space for dinner time, however the kitchen also had everything we needed, including a table large enough for our family. The home was meticulously cleaned and maintained, there were extra beach chairs and toys and an umbrella, which was very convenient. The pool was a nice size, not overly crowded and was very convenient. I would highly recommend this home to anyone considering a nice relaxing vacation, but wanting the comfort and convenience of feeling at home. I will be booking again this year and every year thereafter. The owners were very accessible for questions and very responsive to our needs. The towel service was just a nice added extra. Thank you for allowing us to make memories in your home and at your beach. ##### Christy K. ### 10/10 Excellent #### betsy v. 23 Nov 2018 #### Annual All Girls Weekend We have finally found what we've been looking for over the past 39 years. This house was absolutely perfect for our annual girls trip. Five of us have spent a weekend together every single year since we graduated from college in 1979 and the older we get, the nicer accommodations we need. This was it. A bedroom for each of us. A bathroom for each of us. And plenty of socializing room on the main floor. Everything is top quality and comfortable and the owners couldn't have been nicer. We were there in November, so the temperatures weren't quite beach-worthy, but we could easily imagine how lovely it would be to sit out on one of the decks and watch the water in nicer weather. Sadly, my spouse will suffer from my weekend in Bethany Beach as my new life goal is to have a bathroom exactly like the one in the upstairs master bedroom. And I won't rest until I get it.
