There is an ensuite shower room with a large shower with rain head. The vanity wash basin has an illuminated mirror with shaver point. The large heated towel rail keeps the fluffy bath and hand towels lovely and warm. There is central heating and double glazing throughout.
Unusually the cottage garden is set about 25 metres from the cottage, next to the dedicated parking space which has a lockable cycle shed for up to two bikes. Walking and cycling maps are provided.
The village, Paxton, is known for its peaceful location.There is a super pub that offers great food and a warm welcome It is close to wonderful river walks along the banks of the Tweed. Paxton House and gardens,with its restored water wheel is only 10 minutes walk away. ten minutes drive will take guests to the walled town of Berwick upon Tweed . Here there is a main line station with connections to Edinburgh and all Scottish stations, or to Newcastle, Durham, York and London if travelling south.
