Los Arcos is perfect for family holidays or couples alike. The apartment bedroom (Bedroom 3) is accessed off the terrace, making it ideal for teenagers or couples wanting a little more independence. Outside… Los Arcos enjoys a peaceful and secluded setting, with far reaching views over the distant hills. Sitting in a large private 1100sqm plot, it is surrounded by mature gardens consisting of several landscaped areas to the front and sides of the villa. It is planted with orange, lemon and olive trees, mature palm trees and bougainvilleas, which give a distinctive Mediterranean feel to the garden. Beautifully illuminated at night by a range of coloured spotlights, it adds a little magic to the evenings during your wonderful Spanish holiday. The main terrace contains the 8m by 4m pool (which can be heated for an additional €200 during cooler months), the outside naya, the summer kitchen with BBQ, dining table and chairs – all with wonderful panoramic views. The pool can be lit at night, making it ideal for an evening swim. There is a CD player with a range of CDs in the summer kitchen, to help create special holiday memories on the terrace, dancing the night away under the stars! A two-person hot tub is situated in a delightful turret next to the summer kitchen. Perfect for relaxing after a hard day sunbathing! Beyond the hot tub is a newly fitted cloakroom with a toilet and sink, ideal for use while you’re outside. In here you’ll also find a selection of pool toys/floats. Grab the deckchairs and cooler box and head to the beach – if you can manage to tear yourself away from the terrace! Inside… The villa has a newly renovated kitchen, incorporating an American fridge freezer which dispenses crushed ice at the touch of a button - a must for cocktail making! It has a Nespresso machine and wine cooler, along with all the regular kitchen essentials such as a dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge is a lovely airy room, with exposed beams and leather sofas. There is a cupboard full of DVDs, books and games for all ages. Sky TV, all the regular UK channels and WiFi mean you can stay connected with the outside world should you wish! Air conditioning will keep you cool during the hot summer months. The dining room is accessed through an archway in the lounge and has seating for 6 people. The stone feature wall has dimmable LED lighting, which creates a lovely warm feel in the evenings. The patio doors lead out onto the naya and the terraces beyond. The traditional Spanish style bathroom is well equipped with ‘his and hers’ sinks, bright LED lighting, plenty of storage space and a chrome heated towel rail. The bath has handgrips and a powerful shower with a glass screen enclosure at one end. The main bedroom (bedroom 1) next to the dining room has a super-king sized bed. Patio doors lead onto the naya, with far reaching views of the mountains beyond. The stone feature wall has dimmable LED lighting, creating a relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Mirrored wardrobes with plenty of storage run along one wall. Air conditioning keeps you cool during the hot months. Bedroom 2, (adjacent to bedroom 1) is perfect for children or couples alike, as the beds can be configured as one super-king or two singles. Again, a feature stone wall with dimmable lighting creates a soft warm glow in the evenings. Air conditioning keeps you comfortable. Bedroom 3 (the studio apartment) is accessed down steps off the naya, through its own front door. Ideal for couples or teenagers, it can also be configured as a super king or 2 single beds. A small kitchenette with a sink and fridge are ideal for making a morning coffee while the others are still sleeping! Built in wardrobes provide plenty of storage and the bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and sink. Air conditioning keeps you cool during the hot months. It has direct access to its own terrace with spectacular hillside views, as well as access to the swimming pool, large main terrace and outside dining and BBQ area, via a set of steps. The surrounding area… A short drive from Los Arcos, the three main local sandy beaches have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness. They are well-tended and very safe for family bathing. There are beach bars, children's play areas, a large inflatable play area in the sea and there is free beach side parking. El Portet beach with its calm turquoise shallow water and golden sand is perfect for a day at the seaside. For those travelling without children, Moraira is the perfect civilised adult getaway! There are many beautiful quiet beaches and coves along the coastline to discover. A stunning marina is home to Club Nautico – perfect for early evening cocktails. In the town, along the coast road and within the area’s hidden coves there are a large variety of restaurants and bars to cater for every taste and budget - whether it's for a relaxing lunch, pre-dinner drink or special evening meal. As the sun goes down, relax in one of the many cafe bars and watch the sea and stunning views along the coastline towards Calpe. For those into their cycling, the area is a favourite for winter training with professional cycling teams. La Vuelta pro road cycling race regularly passes through Moraira. For those into their golf, Ifach Golf course is no more than a five minute stroll or a nine-iron away from Los Arcos. It’s a warm and welcoming course with a well recommended adjacent restaurant complete with its own private pool for relaxing. If you want to make the most of those waking hours then tennis, squash, water sports, boat hire and trips, scuba diving for all levels, horse-riding, quad-biking, go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children are all easily available. Moraira is now one of the most exclusive and pleasant places to stay whilst on holiday on the Costa Blanca. It has all the charms of a small picturesque fishing town nestled between mountains and vineyards, and at the same time has grown to offer everything to those that stay here. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the different indoor and outdoor areas are just perfectly planned for lazy days. We all really loved the pool, and it was very clean and taken care of. The hosts were very friendly, generous and easy to get in touch with, as well as the house manager. The house is located in a very pretty and calm residential area, close (by car) to a lot of beaches and the lovely town Moraira. Amazing hosts, Beautiful Villa, perfect views, lovely area. The Villa was immaculately clean, modern and very tasteful furnished. Very nice supermarket (Pepe La Sal) 10/15 mins walk who also deliver. Cuidan cada detalle. Toda la casa es magnífica, con todas las comodidades y con las mejores vistas. Han sido unas vacaciones maravillosas, hemos desconectado mucho y esperamos poder repetir otro año. La limpieza era buena y realizado por una empresa, solo había algún rincón o detalle con polvo pero algo normal en una casa tan grande. You need a car to get to Moraira and the beaches, but it is only minutes away. Tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar para unas vacaciones perfectas con familia o con amigos. Está muy cuidada y equipada con mucho detalle. Los propietarios muy atentos. El primer día no funcionaba uno de los aires acondicionados, pero solucionaron el problema rápidamente. La zona es muy tranquila, pero hay de todo en los alrededores: supermercado, bares, restaurantes, cafeterías... las playas cercanas son muy bonitas. This is a great villa for families and friends to share. The owners, Paul and Gill, made every effort to make sure the booking went ahead as planned and were always available by email/telephone, along with their local property manager to provide support if needed. The very private pool with its view over the valley coupled with stunning sunsets provided the backdrop for lovely endings to each day with drinks on the Naya. The villa is located near a local supermarket on the coast road leading into Moraira along which are many restaurants and beaches. For us golfers, no more than a 5 minute walk from the villa is the "Ifach" 9 hole golf course, small but challenging. Villa is fully equipped and the owners' personal and thoughtful touches mean it is lacking for nothing. The outside space features a superb pool and caters for every need, with plenty of space to relax in sun or shade and to enjoy drinks and sunsets on the fabulous covered terrace. From the lovely decor, the stunning sunsets from the terrace , the amazing outdoor kitchen where we barbecued and drank sangria every night, the inviting pool both during the day and at night, this place was just perfect for us. The separate apartment gave our 17 year old the solitude he wanted (!) whilst we couldn’t get our daughter out of the pool! The villa was very secluded from other villas around it and had amazing views. The local area had loads of restaurants and was very close to Moraira and it’s beaches. Amenities (supermarkets) were very close by as well. The villa was very well equipped inside and out. Paul and Gill couldn’t have been more helpful - everything from the booking process, the communication before we arrived, the directions and the information at the villa were simple and spot on.
