The table can seat 6\. It would be a bird watchers dream. There is the most beautiful peacock who lives there. It is next to a stream and surrounded by woodland. The hotel is very clean. The food is lovely. The property is very warm as it was cold when we visited. The only thing we didn’t find pleasurable was the roads to it. We came in from what turned out to be the worse road and used the other road for the rest of the time. It was a one track road and the car was almost touching either side. It appeared to have been wrecked recently, and nothing had been changed. Broken toilet roll holder, broken rubbish bin and damaged woodwork and paint. I was told that EV car could be charged at the National Trust chargepoint. "Just unplug their van if one is on the charging point " The N T guy we spoke to was not impressed! The bathroom was clean and functional but dated as was the paintwork in the room but the beds were comfortable and lovely bedding and blankets. We loved every minute of our stay.
