"The staff we encountered were all lovely. So pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. We had a bath with shower over, always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. The man from Liverpool was so cheerful and welcoming each morning, a great start to the day. Had food and drinks in the bar which we enjoyed. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel. "

"Quite a strange hotel? Its in a nice spot and not a bad set up. But the doors are banging all hours amd the walls are very thin, so no sleep. At breakfast the service was non existent despite it been wuiet. You can only have one item, so i could have cereal, but toast was extra? I wont be back im afraid."

"This is our second visit to this hotel and we will return next time we are in Chester. The location with the Park & Ride next door is very handy for visiting the city. The large on site parking is ideal. Food purchased was very good. The pool of course is a bonus. All members of staff we met from the receptionists to the room attendants were friendly and professional. The only thing missing was a fridge in the room."

"Rooms ok but service goes downhill quickly when the hotel is busy - had to wait 5 minutes for someone to turn up at the reception desk and the breakfast is limited to a greasy buffet with no real healthy options. Service definitely different to other MacDonald hotels once they have a larger number of guests"

"This hotel is ok, but the restaurant is appalling. Severe lack of staff and attention to diners, we watched two couples up and leave after being sat with no service for almost 45minutes. The food is vastly overpriced versus quality combined with the lack of staff attention, we were only offered a drinks order once and provided with one small jug of table water. Spa facilities are ok, sauna is tiny but ok, pool area is nice"

"Challenging hotel. Rooms needs a refurbished Chef can make scrambled but cannot make an omelette !! Very limited restaurant menu Pool needs a big clean"
