Peeling paintwork, dirty walls, toilet seat not fixed on one side, bedside lampshades not fixed, base of hanging arm that served as a 'wardrobe' not secure on wall & arm itself missing a screw - couldn't trust with any real weight. Floor very uneven, so much so bed sloped from bottom to top & from side to side. However, decor was tired and some of the fittings were in poor repair -,the toilet cistern leaked and the shower fell apart if you touched it. The floor was very uneven, even allowing for it being an old building , and sunk in the middle. We were disappointed to find that the inn itself was closed, which we were not aware of until we arrived , so no breakfast etc, as expected. The major issue however came from outside - we were awakened on the hour every hour by the church bells opposite sounding all through the night and had very little sleep.
