Family-friendly cottage in Ashbourne
Station Cottage dates back to 1694 and is situated in the rural village of Hognaston, Derbyshire. This stunning cottage was renovated and refurbished to create a luxurious holiday cottage with a wealth of character and charm. The location of Station Cottage combines the tranquility of Hognaston Village with easy access to the beauty of The Peak District, the popular towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne, the stately homes of Chatsworth House, Kedleston Hall and Haddon Hall, the fun of Alton Towers, and it is just a 20 minute walk to Carsington Reservoir. Outside there is a patio with table and chairs to enjoy the peace of the village. And next door but one is The Red Lion Pub where tasty meals and drinks can be enjoyed.

Ladies get together
Lovely cottage, well equipped and comfortable. Beds very comfortable, fresh bed linen and lots of towels and hot water. Walking distance to Carsington Water. People in the village very friendly and helpful. Good pub food next door. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
