Hotel nello standard delle 4 stelle. Verificare pulizie (cambio lenzuola). Frigor (utilizzi digitalizzati): già tutto pieno/rifornito da prodotti, bibite... in vendita dall'Hotel che, quindi, NON consente di utilizzarlo per proprie cose/acquisti....

City centre Hotel

Great place to stay ,very central ,good for all attractions vibrant nightlife and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Could not understand why chambermaid persisted in putting one set of towels in bathroom when two guests are staying in room? Good buffet breakfast, Stayed here before and will return, even if I have to constantly remind chambermaid TWO guests.

Location was the main plus point

Posted 03-Jan-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff
Location: Waterlooplein has a great Bagels & Beans cafe. It's a short walk to the main shopping district and tram connections up to Centraal Station & the muse
After booking a double room and being given a twin, I complained and was told no doubles were available that night, but would be for the remainder of my stay. My bags were moved for me to the new room the next day, but it still had two single beds pushed together with a double duvet over the top. Service at the bar was the source of a joke for the rest of the trip,as the barman went off, allegedly to get an ingredient for a drink and ten minutes later was seen in another part of the bar serving other customers. Standard inflated prices for the minibar and very basic facilities in the room and hotel generally. €19 for breakfast. Beware - when ordering a taxi, this hotel has entrances on two different streets.

Nice hotel, very central!

I was there fore one night. Got an upgrade and had a very nice room. Rooms are nice, anyhow they could be better maintained. But this is complaining on a high level as it was really ok.

Hotel in Rembrandt Square. Business trip, one nigh

Posted 21-Nov-2016
Pros: Not much. The restaurant looked as though the menu was comprehensive, but not used.
Cons: Renovation. New carpets, etc.
Location: Very central to restaurants and bars.
Hotel was downtown, not the best or quietest area. It was not that late, but front door was locked, notice instructed guests to go around block to another entrance. Alleyways are not good at night in a city. Hotel staff were slow, only at one desk. The hotel looked well used and tired, the carpets were worn and grubby.

Great hotel at a superb location

Posted 21-Nov-2016
Pros: Rooms were big
Cons: Some free snacks would be nice.
Really nice hotel. Rooms are quite big and very clean. Location was superb - we just walked everywhere (which you can do in Amsterdam, everything is about a 15-20 minutes walk).

Served the purpose

This hotel is not right on the square, just off. It is within reasonable walking distance of many of the main attractions. Comfortable, quiet room, pretty stingey with tea/coffee creamer - only two, meaning very strong drinks! We did not eat at hotel as it was rather too expensive for us and there are many alternatives around. Nice outlook over opera house from our room on fifth floor (not many buildings are that tall).
