After passing through a charming private courtyard, our apartment on the ground floor of a historic house is reached via a stone staircase.<br><br>Let yourself be captivated by the quality of the decor—created by owners who are passionate about art—the moment you step inside.<br><br>The entryway leads directly to the living room and dining room, which feature an open kitchen. The living area includes a sleeper sofa (140 cm x 190 cm), a contemporary armchair, and a flat-screen TV. From there, you can enjoy a view of the Garçonnet Tower at the Château d’Amboise, immersing yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Touraine region.<br><br>A modern and elegant dining area awaits you, perfect for entertaining guests in style. The dishes are neatly stored in a cabinet with a sleek design.<br><br>The modern and functional kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a glass-ceramic cooktop, a microwave oven, a refrigerator-freezer, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine, a toaster, a kettle, a blender, and a washing machine. The large worktop is perfect for preparing delicious meals after a visit to the local market (on Fridays and Sundays). We provide a kitchen starter kit, including a trash bag, a sponge, a small bottle of dish soap, and a tea towel. However, please note that cooking spices (salt, pepper, oil, etc.) are not provided.<br><br>As soon as spring arrives, you can enjoy the lovely private terrace for al fresco dining with your loved ones.<br><br>A hallway leads to a spacious 35-square-meter bedroom, decorated with the utmost care for your absolute comfort. Inside, you’ll find a queen-size bed with a solid elm burl headboard, a sofa bed for two, a leather ottoman, a Louis XV-style wardrobe, and a Louis XVI-style desk with a Bubu stool designed by Philippe Starck, which adds a contemporary touch to the antique furnishings. A decorative fireplace topped with a Louis XVI trumeau completes the decor. Sheets and one bath towel per person, as well as a bath mat, are provided.<br><br>The modern and functional bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, a vanity unit with a sink, and a lighted mirror.
