However, we felt safe during our stay. The main issue, in my opinion, was the condition of the room; it was not very clean. There were hairs on the bedsheets, even on the new ones we received after mentioning the problem to the reception. It was manageable for one night, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than that. It's located right in the party corners of the city so it's a perfect location if you want to stay up clubbing or gorging tapas all night long. Surprisingly quiet though, considering the circumstances. The staff by the counter spoke well enough English to get by without being fluent in Spanish so that's also a big bonus if you're one of those. The room itself was ok. Very robust but clean. What I didn't like though is that the TV didn't function, the exhaust fan for the bathroom was broken and the air conditioner was discoloured on the inside with something I presume was mold. Didn't look as grand overall as on the pictures. Considering all this I think it was somewhat overpriced. I'd recommend this for a more backpacker-minded traveler that wants to party all night long and doesn't spend too much time in the hotel - and want's to pay that little extra for a single room or with a companion instead of sleeping in a dorm. ##### Sebastian Stayed 4 nights in Oct 2024 ### 8/10 Good #### Andrew 27 Jun 2025 Liked: Cleanliness I booked this hotel prior to reading previous reviews and instantly regretted it. I honestly thought I was going to be staying in Bates Motel with Chucky hiding in the cupboard. Arrived and was met with a clean reception area with very friendly staff. Check in was no issue at all. Go to my room which I found to be clean and tidy. The fridge worked (I didn't use it, but had seen reviews saykng it didn't...) The Air-Con worked, which was a blessing in the 35 degree heat in Alicante this week! There was a safe in the room which I used. There was a TV but I didn't turn it on. The bathroom had everything you want. A toilet, basin and shower. Soap, shampoo and body wash was provided as were towels. Didnt want for anything in that respect. So far, so good!! I was here during Las Hogueras so Alicante was absolutely bouncing 25 hours a day. Yes, it was noisy, however i couldn't have been any more in the centre of the city so was expecting it to be. If I wanted utter silence I'd have booked a SAGA over 50's where everyone is in bed by 8PM after a good old dance of "The Slosh". Could the bathroom been a bit cleaner? Possibly, but I've genuinely stayed in worse Travelodge hotels at double the price per night. In all honesty, this is a cheap hotel slap bang in the middle of the city. I honestly dont know what people are expecting for the price this place charges.
