If I'd wanted better, I'd have paid more! ##### Mark Stayed 5 nights in Nov 2024 ### 6/10 Okay #### Özge 21 Feb 2025 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities The hotel is located on a street bustling with bars, so it can get quite noisy on the floors at night. However, we felt safe during our stay. The main issue, in my opinion, was the condition of the room; it was not very clean. There were hairs on the bedsheets, even on the new ones we received after mentioning the problem to the reception. It was manageable for one night, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than that. We were able to leave our luggage there before and after check-out, which was very helpful. ##### Özge Stayed 1 night in Feb 2025 ### 4/10 Poor #### doug 16 Feb 2025 Liked: Staff & service Disliked: Property conditions & facilities #### Not the best stay I've ever had I know it was a cheap hotel so wasnt expecting greatness but the overall feel of the place was pretty downbeat. My room was situated right above an extremely noisy bar and asked if i could move to somewhere at the back of the hotel, i was told i could do it later? but in the end i was so tired i fell asleep. The shining light was the receptionist, hine, why he said was pronounced hunny. He was really friendly and extremely helpful in pointing out a car park where the hotel guests got a discount ##### doug Stayed 1 night in Feb 2025 ### 6/10 Okay #### Sebastian 15 Oct 2024 Liked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities #### Suitable for backpackers and partypeople "Not great not terrible" as someone once said. It's located right in the party corners of the city so it's a perfect location if you want to stay up clubbing or gorging tapas all night long. Surprisingly quiet though, considering the circumstances. The staff by the counter spoke well enough English to get by without being fluent in Spanish so that's also a big bonus if you're one of those. The room itself was ok. Very robust but clean. What I didn't like though is that the TV didn't function, the exhaust fan for the bathroom was broken and the air conditioner was discoloured on the inside with something I presume was mold. Didn't look as grand overall as on the pictures. Considering all this I think it was somewhat overpriced. I'd recommend this for a more backpacker-minded traveler that wants to party all night long and doesn't spend too much time in the hotel - and want's to pay that little extra for a single room or with a companion instead of sleeping in a dorm. ##### Sebastian Stayed 4 nights in Oct 2024 ### 6/10 Okay #### Anthony 15 Feb 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service Disliked: Property conditions & facilities #### Central but disappointing Great location but unfortunately this means lots of noise of a nighttime from a local bar/club Reception guy was really nice and check in was efficient The lift to the room is very small I just about fitted in with my suitcase and one bag Room was really clean soundproofing very poor and whenever somebody next door left their apartment there was a huge bang which made the whole of my apartment shake as all the doors are attached to a single long partition wall Bathroom was very poor with no shower door, the rain shower itself had come away from the wall and because there was no shower door the water went all over the bathroom making it dangerously slippy every time I took a shower. I honestly thought I was going to be staying in Bates Motel with Chucky hiding in the cupboard. Arrived and was met with a clean reception area with very friendly staff. Check in was no issue at all. Go to my room which I found to be clean and tidy. The fridge worked (I didn't use it, but had seen reviews saykng it didn't...) The Air-Con worked, which was a blessing in the 35 degree heat in Alicante this week! There was a safe in the room which I used. There was a TV but I didn't turn it on. The bathroom had everything you want. A toilet, basin and shower. Soap, shampoo and body wash was provided as were towels. Didnt want for anything in that respect. So far, so good!! I was here during Las Hogueras so Alicante was absolutely bouncing 25 hours a day. Yes, it was noisy, however i couldn't have been any more in the centre of the city so was expecting it to be. If I wanted utter silence I'd have booked a SAGA over 50's where everyone is in bed by 8PM after a good old dance of "The Slosh". Could the bathroom been a bit cleaner? Possibly, but I've genuinely stayed in worse Travelodge hotels at double the price per night. In all honesty, this is a cheap hotel slap bang in the middle of the city. I honestly dont know what people are expecting for the price this place charges.
