Excellent food and hospitality

Stephanie and Neil made us feel part of the family. We enjoyed the chats over breakfast and the arts and crafts made there. We will be going back in Oct this year. Great location for beaches and mountains. Stunning scenery. The walks superb.

Meget fint guesthouse!!

Posted 31-Jul-2016 on Hotels

Good points. Nice owners, large room, large en-suite, clean. Bad points. No heating on arrival and then radiators became slightly warm. Second night heating was on but I returned later. An additional electric radiator was in the bedroom, an admission perhaps that the heating doesn't work. Large bathroom with tiny radiator that was slightly warm. It was below freezing outside. In the morning the heating doesn't start 'working' until 7:30. No TV in room and no WI-FI during my stay although others appear to have the same issue. Breakfast is extra which for comparable places is always included. Come on Hotels.com, you have been told before that your description of this 'hotel' is inaccurate. I stay away a lot and I found this to be very poor value for money. Sorry nice owners but you need to improve to keep pace with the competition. I won't be back.

Great weekend away

Used this hotel for a break away and took our dog. Lovely stay in a farm atmosphere with oldy world charm. Really good breakfast and delightful couple running the hotel. Felt like they were good friends as we left and will definitely stay again. Good position for all the local places to visit

Wonderful and eccentric!

Posted 25-Aug-2015 on Hotels
This is a wonderful guesthouse! The owners are excellent hosts and the atmosphere is very laid back. Food offered is simple but very good. Sunday roast dinner is excellent! It is a bit ramshackle but that is a huge part of its charm, as are the comedy cats and dogs. The rooms are a little dated but it doesn't matter, and this is reflected in the reasonable price. If you want luxury and formality pay the price for it somewhere else, otherwise it should please you as much as it did me to stay there.
