Nice cozy guest house with double doors to a terrace with lots of evening sun, all equipped, in a rural area, close to water sport facilities (Kaag eiland). Highway access 2 minutes away, free parking, close to Amsterdam, Leiden, Haarlem (30 min) and beaches in Katwijk and Noordwijk (20 min). Ideal position for cycling routes to the green hart and the coast. With option to use the sauna for a small fee.

The guest house is located in a small rural town, in the middle of tulip fields (n the season), close to the Keukenhof, Schiphol Airport and Kaag Eiland ( for water sports). Our street connects to the Ringvaart, which is a 60 kilometer canal which surrounds the municipality Haarlemmermeer and is great for cycling and walking. Please be aware the guesthouse is close to the airport, so quite often you can hear plains can fly over.

If you are looking for a party holiday this place is not for you. We live in a quiet area, our neighbors like their peace and we don’t want to disturb them. Due to limited public transport in Abbenes we strongly recommend coming by car. Please be mindful before you book.

There are many free parking spaces on the streat behind the guesthouse.

The high way to Amsterdam, Leiden and several beaches is 2 minutes away.

If you want to use the train you can drive there within 5-8 minutes and park your car for free. From the Nieuw Vennep train station it is 9 minutes to Schiphol Airport and 28 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. If you go the other way you can travel to Leiden and The Hague.

Tolle Ferienwohnung
Eine sehr schöne, top ausgestattetet und saubere Ferienwohnung. Lage war für uns super. Einziger Manko, hier können aber die Eigentümer nichts für, große Baustelle vor der Wohnung und somit leicht problematische Parksituation. Einflugschneise zum Flughafen hat uns nicht gestört. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mini-Strandhaus in der Nähe von Katwijl, Nordweijk und Amsterdam
Das Häuschen ist sehr niedlich, aber eigentlich nur für 2 Personen geeignet. Wir waren zu dritt, dann ist es etwas sehr eng, liegt in einem Hinterhof und in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es nichts. Bäcker etc. sind weiter weg. Ein Restaurant Lowjes ist 2,4 Kilomter entfernt, das ist allerdings fantastisch und lohnt sich. In der Summe haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.

Schöne Bleibe mit kleinem Manko
Alles war sehr schön und sehr sauber, die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend, es gab auch Kaffeekapseln, Gewürze etc.- alles nicht selbstverständlich. Größerer Wermutstropfen waren die im Minutentakt startenden/ landenden Flugzeuge, die hier nicht besonders hoch fliegen und daher doch ziemlich störend sind, wenn man draußen sitzt.

Eine tolle kleine Unterkunft
Die Beschreibung des Objekts trifft sehr genau zu. Der CheckIn Vorgang war auch Dank Schlüsselbox total einfach. Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um eine vollständig ausgebaute Gartenlaube auf dem Grundstück der Vermieter mit allem drum und dran. Nagelneues Bad, Klimaanlage, sehr stilvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Ein Wohn-Esszimmer mit Küchenzeile, ein Badezimmer und ein Schlafzimmer. Richtig schön. Das Vermieter Ehepaar haben wir auch angetroffen und uns Tipps geholt. In englischer Sprache überhaupt kein Problem. Trotzdem dass sich Abbenes in der Einflugschneiße befindet, ist durch die dicht schließenden Fenster nachts kein Fluglärm wahrzunehmen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Idealerweise für zwei Personen, mit Kindern im Grundschulalter aber auch noch total okay.

Etwas kuschelig mit vier Erwachsenen, aber für ein Wochenende absolut ausreichend. Die Gastgeber waren darüberhinaus immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit!
