The hotel was great value for money. My only issue being wifi was not in the rooms and only in the communal areas. The hotel is big and a little understaffed, but you wouldn't notice as the staff at the hotel were great and very attentive. They basically made the stay.
We are a family of 6 and stayed here while going to Alton Towers. The check in was great. The rooms are clean and the shared lounge room was lovely. It is such a beautiful area!
Good kitchen facilities, plenty of space to relax and close by to shops and the town centre, which meant we could go to the cinema late at night and not worry about how to get the the hostel because it was a minute away
Staffordshire has accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, including two and three star hotels. For many travellers, a hotel is simply somewhere to sleep in between exploring the area or attending business meetings, so there is little point in spending extra money on luxury features that won't get used. But that doesn’t mean two star hotels in Staffordshire are short on features – in fact, you’ll find them clean, welcoming and with plenty of unexpected extras, as well as being well within most people’s budgets.
There are plenty of two star hotels to choose from in Staffordshire, all of which represent excellent value for money. And all of the two star hotels on offer refuse to compromise on quality. They are reasonably priced, the levels of service, cleanliness and professionalism at a high standard, and the welcome is as priceless as always! Some extras may incur a surcharge, but with two star accommodation in Staffordshire, you get to choose what you get out of your stay without breaking the bank.
Many of the large hotel chains offer 2-star accommodation, and these large complexes often contain their own restaurants, cafés and meeting rooms, making them ideal for business travellers. Two star Staffordshire hotels such as the Holiday Inn Express Tamworth are a perfect example of a good quality but affordable hotel that’s ideally suited for business visitors. There are also many smaller, independent two star hotels in Staffordshire which, while not boasting quite so many handy facilities, each have their own unique character and tend to be located closer to town centres. Bridgewood House in Stafford, for example, provides off-street parking, WiFi and spacious rooms at an affordable price, with the added advantage of being right in the middle of town.
Although two star accommodation won't provide all the thrills and frills of luxury hotels, all the essentials will be well catered for. For example, you may not get 24-hour room service, but you will get a clean, comfortable bed, WiFi and a decent breakfast. TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and telephones are standard features of two star hotels, but many won’t offer an evening meal, giving you the opportunity to go out and discover some of Staffordshire’s hidden dining treasures!
If you're looking to holiday in the area and you're on a tight budget, most affordable hotels will offer family rooms which usually sleep two adults and up to four children. If you're travelling alone, single room supplements are usually kept relatively low in two star hotels.
Laundry services, parking, en-suite bathrooms and many other features are common in two star accommodation, and if you need to work while you stay, rooms with desks are also commonplace. Frequently, you also get the chance to opt out of breakfast, which can save you even more money to use on seeing the local sites and attractions.
So, whether you're travelling on business or looking for affordable family accommodation, two star Staffordshire hotels are well worth exploring.
