We booked 2 rooms and check in was from 3pm but unfortunately when we arrived at 5.30pm only one room was ready! We had to wait until 6.30 to get into the other room. I did ask for a free drink for inconvenience to which they agreed to straight away.

If a good night sleep is what you're after then please don't use this hotel. We stayed in room 107 which is a suite, when trying to check in at 2 our room wasn't ready for at least an hour, in which time myself and my wife had to go and meet other people outside of the hotel, so our bag had to be placed behind the reception. When going back into the room, there was a smell of sick lingering, the room was very dated, stains on the carpets and the beds mattress was very soft. Because this room was located at the front corner by the car park and directly over the bar the noise was horrendous, when the bar went quiet at 2am that's when people from the city centre were getting the taxis from outside the hotel till 5am. After a couple of hours sleep we went for breakfast which is priced at nearly £10 each, is was okay but nothing to shout about. We will never return to this hotel again, you would of thought that after having waited for our room it would of been spotless. This is by far the worse hotel I've stayed in for many of year, and I stay in hotels weekly for my job.
