I Stayed in this hotel with my two daughters and we thourght that the staff was very professional. The hotel was also very clean and comfertable.I highly recommend it.
Great location with a great view. We had a nice private room with a private bath. All was clean, but the walls were a little thin. It was nice to have a kitchen to make some meals in. Overall I would absolutely stay here again!
Check in is remotely done. No person there. Done by cctv and a little unfriendly as a result. However, room was good. Facilities good, except for shower on one occasion when no hot water. An invigorating few seconds!
The hotel is situated right in the heart of the city, most of the sightseeing locations and shopping in particular are in walking distance. Room was clean and with good furniture, but with a small bathroom and especially small shower. Staff was very helpful, the optional breakfast for a surcharge ...
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel; well-located with some good restaurants nearby. Although the decor was dated, the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, so we slept well. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The Vaudois Alps is a fabulous destination for active holidays in Switzerland, with plenty to occupy couples, families and groups of friends all year round. With stunning alpine landscape with quaint mountain villages, ski resort towns and inviting thermal spas, it’s a perfect location whether you want a relaxing holiday or you’re up for an adventure.
Less well known and regarded as more affordable than neighbouring Valais, the Vaudois Alps offers hotels to suit all budgets. Use Expedia’s search tool to find two-star accommodation in pretty towns and villages like the major ski resort of Leysin. Whether you’re looking for small family-run hotels with cosy, pine-clad interiors, or you’d rather stay in a traditional timber chalet with flower boxes and on-site restaurants and lounges, you’ll find a budget hotel to suit you in Vaudois.
Some two-star hotels in Vaudois are on the mountains with ski-in-ski-out access, while others are close to ski lifts, gondolas or cableways that transport you straight to the pistes. Most hotels offer Wi-Fi, parking, and a restaurant or terrace, and some include a buffet breakfast and complimentary shuttle bus. If you’re looking for some post-ski R&R, look for a place to stay with billiards table, tennis courts or easy access to the walking paths in the area.
Aside from joining the flocks of visitors enjoying Vaudois Alps’ skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports, you’ll also find the region offers a lot of other things to do. West of Leysin is the major tourist attraction of Medieval Aigle Castle, a turreted stronghold which now houses the Vine and Wine Museum. Just to the south of Leysin is the underground spectacle of the Bex Salt Mines, and slightly further afield is Lake Geneva, whose waterfront cities of Montreux and Lausanne attract those looking to add a little urban flavour to their visit.
Summer or winter, sporty or relaxing, you’re sure to find plenty of things to do from your two-star hotel in the Vaudois Alps.
