Lovely rooms with big beds. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate with biscuits in room. Less than 5 minutes to haymarket station. Walking distance to murrayfield. Bus stop right outside to get into town or zoo. Hotel restaurant very nice but plenty of others close by.
Although the reviews weren't promising, we were pleasantly surprised by the Hilton Grosvenor. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to Edinburgh Airport and walking distance from Princes Street and Edinburgh City Center. The building is beautifully historic yet modernly comfortable and has a Costa Cafe as well as a quality restaurant and bar. Our double room was very nice with all the expected amenities. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Hilton Grosvenor.
"Great hotel in prime location for travel networks"
The tune hotel was fantastic. Prime location for travel networks to the city centre, places to eat and attractions. The staff could not help you enough and were really informative when asked for recommendations.
Great location. Lovely hotel. The staff throughout the hotel were very smart and helpful. Room was very nice- clean and tastefully decorated! Breakfast very good- a lot of choice!
Overall,an excellent hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Edinburgh. First class hotel.
"Lovely apartment - perfect for a weekend getaway"
I stayed here with my boyfriend for two nights (Friday-Sunday) - the apartment was lovely with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend pottering around Edinburgh. The place is close enough to walk to the centre, but not so close that a cheap taxi ride isn't justified if you're feeling lazy! We ate out for most of our meals but we did cook in the apartment on the first night and everything worked fine - when we came in from a day out the next day we even noticed that our dishes had been put in the dishwasher for us, which was a nice touch. The open plan living/dining room/kitchen was a nice size and felt modern. Generally a really nice place and no complaints.
Stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk from Haymarket train station where both the tram and bus to the airport stop, and 10 mins walk to Grassmarket and Princes St. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Edinburgh.
