This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Townhouse Suite which was larger than our London flat! By far the best value for money we have ever got from a hotel room. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The onsite "honesty shop" was also very well stocked with a range of food and drinks with a lovely lounge area to enjoy them in. We have already booked this hotel again for our next trip to Edinburgh.

Great apartment, tastefully refurbished with kitchenette, lounge, an amazing bathroom and Sky tv, only 15 minutes walk from the centre. The proprietor, Alastair, was really friendly and accommodating. He looked after our luggage all day on the day of checkout and we were an hour late collecting it but he didn't mind a bit! I would highly recommend this apartment and hope to return again soon.

Very clean, warm and comfortable apartment. Lovely decor, spacious, easy walk to city centre and 2 minutes to train, tram and bus stop. Great facilities, luggage store was an added bonus. Highly recommend

I had a single room and it was perfect for travelling solo. Very comfortable bed, quiet area, lovely housekeeping staff. Definitely would stay there again.

Our room exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel was perfect and the car parking facilities were very particularly useful - and unusual to find within a city break. The club lounge was also a real treat.

We had an amazing stay! Lovely and helpful staff. I am very thankful! I planned a surprise for my partner as it was his birthday, soni asked if they can do it for me, they said they don’t do that but they will note of it but the staff did an extra mile and also gave us free drinks! It was simple but very special, he was surprised! ❤️ thank you so much. We will surely recommend and come back again.

We travelled & stayed in Edinburgh for the 6 Nations Rugby. Having never stayed in Edinburgh we fell on this gem of accommodation that was affordable, clean & central to everywhere that we wanted. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The bed was comfortable as was the bed settee which was actually a single bed with a full single bed underneath so our 1 bedroom accommodation was comfortable for 4 adults

Haymarket is a walkable, economical neighborhood with convenient options for restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Broaden your horizons with some local theater. Hotels in Haymarket provide a good starting point for sightseeing in and around the Edinburgh area.
Sightseeing around Haymarket
The museums and theaters provide some cultural flavor, while the historic sites and castle offer insight into local lore. Study the collections at Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Dean Gallery, or Royal Scots Regimental Museum. You can buy tickets to live performances at Usher Hall, Royal Lyceum Theatre, and King's Theatre. Swing by Georgian House, Edinburgh Castle, and Gladstone's Land to learn about local history. Some landmarks that can't be missed include St. Mary's Episcopal Cathederal, Charlotte Square, and Camera Obscura and World of Illusions. Create some family memories at Omni Centre Edinburgh, Our Dynamic Earth, and Royal Commonwealth Pool.
You can get some shopping done while you're here, or take part in any number of other activities. An enjoyable day at the park is awaiting you at Princes Street Gardens, The Meadows, or Royal Botanic Garden. Surround yourself with nature at Beecraigs Country Park. With a shopping trip to Geoffrey Kiltmakers and Weavers, Princes Mall, or Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, you might find that perfect souvenir. A visit to Tynecastle Stadium, Murrayfield Stadium, or Carlton Cricket Club won't disappoint either.
Some of the area's most popular sights are Greyfriars Kirk, St. Giles' Cathedral, and Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre. National War Museum, Scotch Whisky Experience, and Tartan Weaving Mill are other must-sees.
Getting around Haymarket
To venture out of town, take a train from Edinburgh Haymarket Station.
Edinburgh (EDI) is the closest major airport, 5.6 miles (9 km) from Haymarket.
