Really excellent location. Easily accessible from the airport via CAT and to the local subway system. Just a few steps from Stephansplatz. Can walk to 7 different Christmas markets within 30 minutes. Just a few small issues: no outlets for charging beside bed, tv and air system did not work. Staff were very friendly but did not have helpful recommendations for area or facilities. Excellent breakfast.

Great location, just minutes walk from St Stephen's cathedral. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and of a good size. Plentiful breakfast buffet. Would highly recommend this hotel

Perfect location close and walking distance to everything. Great dining options galore nearby. Exceptional staff goes above and beyond for you. Super clean. Lots of character and delicious breakfeast. Cannot go wrong staying here...price is very reasonable.

Can't beat the location of this hotel! It's in the city center but on the quieter side. We could walk everywhere or jump on the metro in St Stephens square. It has a nice, large breakfast room, but no real communal seating area to gather with friends. The only downside. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Great boutique hotel in the heart of Vienna. Beautiful room, clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast and welcoming staff. Highly recommend it when visiting Vienna.

Perfectly located in a quiet street just behind St Stephens Dom. 2 minute walk to main shopping strip and 5 minutes to Hoffburg and main attractions. One street from Figilmuellers and their subsidiaries. And plenty of other eating options. Rooms a bit dated, but this is the norm in Vienna unless its just been renovated and/or you pay through the nose. But clean, tidy, quiet and the staff are superb. Highly recommend it, especially for the price in this location. Also showers have plenty of water pressure, hot water and not flooding the bathroom. Air con is not great, but quiet enough to leave windows open, excrpt if its a Saturday night. Will happily stay there again in future.

There were hairs in my bed that weren't mine 2/3 of the nights after the room was made up. The shower receptacle was angled poorly so the bathroom flooded if the shower was on too long. Most of the staff were very nice, but one gentleman was fairly abrupt in his speech and made it feel as though we were a huge burden to him and he was thinly masking his veiled contempt...

I’m really glad I chose Hotel Domizil out of all the options there were. The Hotel Domizil is in a very convenient location; walking distance to St. Stephan’s Cathedral, The Spanish Riding School, Hofburg Palace, Volksgarten, etc. I loved the European style breakfast which was included each morning. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I relied on them to point me in the right direction a number of times. I would stay here again.

Great location and easy to get to things, ie. metro, walking everywhere. Regarding the hotel, would have been nice if there was an area you could gather in the hotel outside of the dining area which was only used for breakfast. No place for a drink or meeting others at the hotel. Rained out for 2 days, it would have been nice to sit in the bar or lounge area for chats with other visitors. Hotel staff were very friendly and very accommodating.

Next to a historic cathedral and in the heart of Vienna. Only a 10 minute walk from the CAT airport train station. Excellent breakfast. Next to multiple cafes and restaurants. Excellent staff.

We arrived early, so our luggage was put in storage (& thankfully they brought it up for us, once the room was ready, while we were still out), but an odd thing occurred before heading out exploring. Another couple came down & I believe a plumbing problem had not been resolved & the way the front desk clerk handled it was rather passive/aggressive, then she looked @ me & rolled her eyes. I thought that wasn't very professional. Otherwise, our stay was uneventful. The room was good sized w/basically a glass wall overlooking the gallery across the street. The bed was too firm, but most are in Europe compared to the US .The walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral was 2 very short blocks away. There's beautiful glass work to the left when you first come in, that divides the lobby & breakfast area. There's a decent choice of food for breakfast.

Great location. Bathroom floor slippery when whet. Difficult to get in and out of the shower / bathtub, heed a handrail to hold on, especially for older folks. Otherwise clean and neat. Friendly and helpful staff.
