Maybe don't stay here

Staff were very courteous and professional but the room itself wasn't particularly clean and hadn't been renovated since the 1980's

Another Lovely Stay

Posted 13-Jan-2015
Pros: Location and ambience
Location: Close proximity to Fairmont Empress, Parliament, IMAX theatre and the great museum nearby. Easy walk to town. Wonderful setting
We chose this hotel many trips ago to Victoria for its convenience both to Victoria Clipper and Coho ferry. This time we arrived VERY early as the Coho ferry from Port Angeles arrives at 10am. Heather took good care of us and our luggage until the the room was ready, even though 'Check In' is much later in the day. We were given an excellent 2nd floor room overlooking the harbor. Stayed 4 nights and will always remember this trip and this lovely old-style hotel with its English environment.

Christmas break

Posted 07-Jan-2015
This hotel is old. Decor very outdated, room doors scratched up. Beds are very uncomfortable and thin, no comforter and the brown fleece blankets worn out. Old unstable furniture. Tinted greasy windows. Sorry cont. breakfast. The only good 3 things were the location, free parking and nice quality new bath towels.

Great hotel location!

Huntingdon Manor is situated in a perfect location. Right across from the ferries and within walking distance of some great experiences in Victoria, B.C. The hotel staff was awesome!

No wifi, ugly decor, green carpet, chipped paint

Posted 02-Jan-2015
Pros: free breakfast
Cons: the entire interior
Location: great location
Not a nice experience, the location is good but the tv's are from the 80's, the paint on the wall is chipped and old, and the wifi did not work when we were there. Apparently a tree fell on the telephone lines and apparently blocked the internet for the whole of the hotel. How stupid. I would say for the price you pay go somewhere else this place is horrible, i feel bad for the staff.

A good find.

Posted 12-Dec-2014
Pros: Location and convenience.
Cons: Not much.
Location: Close to the harbour and downtown. Perfect for museums, shopping, sightseeing. Lots to do and see within walking distance.
There was absolutely nothing to complain about and the price was very good. Location is quiet but super convenient...walking distance to centre town, and James Bay shops and right on the harbour. Staff were pleasant and accomodating. All good. Would definitely stay again.
