After a long journey by train and car from London, I was warmly welcomed. As the lift was temporarily out of order the reception insisted my bags were carried to the room, very clean, well provisioned fourth floor accommodation.
As a first time visitor to Vence staff were keen to help with information, explained parking arrangements and making recommendations of "must see" for such a short overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent in a small but very pleasant and bright corner room.
In the early hours I received news that my father had died. The reception staff was compassionate, and offered every facility to help me communicate with family offering use of phone and computer (my tablet was low on battery), and any other help in a considered but non-intrusive way.

The hotel is located on top of the hill and has a great panoramic view of the surrounding village below. The interior of room has french country atmosphere but needs some updating. The hotel grounds need some maintenance but the swimming pool is nice. Short walking distance to old city and great restaurants is a bonus. Ovaral it is a nice, three star hotel.

We booked this hotel because we cannot find anything in Nice. It turned out to be a very pleasant and cosy hotel. The staff are great and very helpful, giving us great recommendation of places to visit, help us with information on the internet and in general, very friendly and kind. The rooms are nice and clean. There is a small pool and a nice outdoor area for dining and breakfast. Unfortunately, during our stay there, the internet did not work very well and had to go back to the lobby to use the internet. Otherwise, this is a great hotel at an affordable price.
Wonderful hotel with great staff and a wonderful restaurant. This hotel is very comfortable. However, the owners of the hotel make the hotel great. The owners remembered us after a long absence from living in Vence. They still remembered our adult sons when they grew up in Vence. The waiter at the restaurant was very friendly and genuinely interested in how your day went and if there was anything he could do to help. I love this hotel. I know it is on a main road, but the room are quiet and the view is quite nice since the hotel is on a hill. I have always stayed there in the past and will continue to stay there in the future.

"Comfortable & welcoming hotel in a great location."
We enjoyed five nights at the Hotel des Cayrons in February 2015.
Tom, the owner, was very welcoming and had heated the room before our arrival.
He was happy to answer all our questions about the area and gave us numerous maps and leaflets to help us plan our visit.
Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was a great source of information and advice.
If he didn't know the answer to one of our questions he would go away, look it up and then come back with an answer. This was very much appreciated as it helped us plan our days to make the most of our trip.

This was my best not ordinary hotel stay. Very charming small and cozy, yet very clean, comfy, quite, with scienery views and wonderful service. This hotel will easy outbid any so called "5 star" resorts in popular south destinations. The only request i would like to make is to have softer pillows.
