Very nice and clean hotel with excellent staff who were always extremely polite and friendly.
Evening meal was delicious and a reasonable price considering the location. Breakfast was a little limited in choice but good value at 15euros pp.
The location is a little out of St Paul but we walked into the village (20mins) and back up the hill again (30mins!) its not arduous and is a pleasant place to be when the weather is as great as it was during our stay. Also very well positioned if you want to visit the Maeght Foundation which is just 10-15mins walk on the way to the village and well worth spending a couple of hours (and 15euros pp) at if you are keen on Miro, Kandinsky et al
The rooms are well decorated and very clean. A nice contrast of contemporary style in contrast to the opulence of our last hotel in Versailles but non the lesser for that.
Good stopover hotel.
Our room on the fifth floor gave us superb views over the hills surrounding Vence and towards the coast. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning helped us acclimatise to the night temperatures in the south of France. The rooftop jacuzzi and terrace also refreshed us from our travels ready for dinner that night.
The staff were extremely helpful in retaining our baggage while we collected the rest of our family party from the airport, and the central location with a garage enabled us to easily park and leave again the next morning.
An excellent overall experience.

We booked this hotel because we cannot find anything in Nice. It turned out to be a very pleasant and cosy hotel. The staff are great and very helpful, giving us great recommendation of places to visit, help us with information on the internet and in general, very friendly and kind. The rooms are nice and clean. There is a small pool and a nice outdoor area for dining and breakfast. Unfortunately, during our stay there, the internet did not work very well and had to go back to the lobby to use the internet. Otherwise, this is a great hotel at an affordable price.
My husband, son and I had 4 nights at the Hotel Victoire and loved our stay. The hotel is small but great, in a great location. Rooms were small but very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Windows has double glazing which kept out the noise from the marketplace across the road. Bathroom was small and the shower tiny, but we managed quite well. Continental breakfast was served only but it was high quality and enough for us. I can highly recommend hotel to anyone.

Vence was not easy to find, but once we found Vence, the hotel was easy to find. The hotel was very old and charming and had a good parking area and a nice pool and outside sitting area. The proprietor, Max was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cute and comfortable. The bathroom decor was a little garish, but the bathroom was large and everything worked great. The patio off the front of our room was a nice touch so we could sit out in the evening and enjoy our wine and appetizers. Since it was a little off the main streets of town it was quiet. WIFI worked great. Grocery store and many restaurants within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable and they provide all the right amenities if you are traveling with kids. The pool was wonderful (not heated now but felt great even though a bit cool ... although they did mention they may be adding heat to the pool at some point). There is a great little play area and trampoline for the kids to play on as well. There are a few toys/games in the lobby and rooms and they have DVD players available. The breakfast by the pool was wonderful (not included in the price but a nice feature to have) and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially liked having AC available for us to use in the rooms. Overall a great experience and I would recommend to anyone staying in the area. It is a little drive to town from the hotel, but not too far.

Situated in Vence, about 20 mins from Nice, this superb hotel offers tranquility, beautiful gardens and scenery, excellent food, and is also a great location from which to explore the region. The nearby chapel designed by Henri Matisse is a must. Matisse and Chagall museums in Nice also essential viewing. The Côte D'Azur is so rich and seductive. Enjoy.
The owners treated us like we were their best friends. It was nice to arrive from a long drive and be welcomed with cocktails and information provided by them on the best sites to visit. The Belgium couple were able to communicate with us in English. They are experienced cooks and provided us with wonderful Dinners in the evening (Dinners were extra as expected, but equivalent to fine dining in town and for us better than having to go downtown to eat). We travel with only carry on luggage, so it was nice to have our laundry done by the owners at no extra cost. The accommodation is like a guest room in their house, and for us we were happy with this arrangement.
