Definitely more hotel than hostel

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: Rooms were quiet and clean.
Cons: The pillows were very stiff and a bit small.
Location: Right in the core of the downtown area, short walk from train station, about 45 min walk from City of Arts and Science.
With ensuite bathrooms and balcony in each room, Hostal Venecia exceeds expectations and should really be considered a hotel. There was a small language barrier so the conversations with front desk felt a bit abrupt, but for the most part got the message across.

Excellent Spot in central Valencia

Posted 20-May-2014 on Hotels.com
The room was pretty small, but we were not expecting anything otherwise. We had a tiny balcony which overlooked the square outside - the view in the evening with the lights below us and the full moon in the sky was sensational. The staff were helpful. We were high up (7th floor), which mitigated traffic noise from outside. It was an enjoyable stay

Noisy waste water outlet

Posted 26-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is perfectly located, clean and with super-helpful staff. No complaints save one - it seemed there was a waste-water pipe behind our bathroom wall so every time upstairs drained the toilet or the shower, there was a terrible rushing of water which woke me on more than one occasion. Real shame as the hostel is one of the best I have stayed in. I would nevertheless go back there.

Fantastic accommodation in Valencia

Posted 19-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
Valencia was an amazing city to visit for a few days and Hostal Venecia made it that much better. It's located in the middle of the old town, directly next to many shops, historic sites, the bus touristic, and some wonderful fountains. The hotel service was great and breakfast was fantastic, however the room was a little small, which may deter some travellers. We didn't mind the size of the room because we only used it to sleep there. Overall, this is a definite hotel to stay in while visiting Valencia!

City break

Posted 04-Mar-2014
I booked the Hostel Venecia for it's location and price. It is ideal for a short stay in Valencia. Although it is a hostel by definition, it is smartly decorated and adequately furnished to the standard of a moderately rated hotel. The hostel is located on one of the main squares and is only two minutes walk from from the train station and within easy walking distance of the historical sights of the city.

Super Worthy

I stayed 5 nights during a business trip. This hotel was recommended by a local friend. He told me this hotel was good and clean with a great location and fair price. After my stay, I can't agree more with my friend's comment.

Beautiful hotel with great location

Posted 17-Feb-2014
Pros: Location
Location: The tourista bus was a great way to see the whole town of valencia in 2 days.
Hostel Venecia was a beautiful hotel with the perfect location. It was central to all historical sights as well as many restaurants and cafes. The view from the room was breathtaking overlooking the fountain in the center of town. The only down side to its central location was it was a little noisy at night, however, it was worth it. The room was extremely spacious and clean. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. The young lady at the front desk answered all of our questions and always directed us perfectly. She even told us of a free shuttle bus to the renfe station. Also, on our last day we were able to secure our luggage in a private locker.
