“Omori Tokyu Inn. Highly recommended.”

For any one wishing to visit Tokyo, the Omori Tokyu Inn is a fantastic hotel. The location of the hotel is almost central to the city. Leaving the hotel the JR station is situated just metres from the reception. This being extremely valuable to your stay. Now people may see a negative side to this such as noise being an issue however, after staying there twice on two different floors and sides of the building, I’ve had no problem with noise from the station. The trains being electric helps with a reduction in noise. The trains at the station run on the Keihin-Tōhoku line which, covers half of central Tokyo. Just two stops to Shinigawa and you can transfer to the Yamanote Line which, covers the other half. Not eating at the hotel myself I found the area is full of restaurants. The rooms themselves are great. The bed is comfortable with single rooms having a double bed and memory foam pillows. You get and LCD T.V. in your room which, is handy if you like Japanese programs. Theres also a kettle, phone, trouser press, alarm clock, slippers and a robe. Theres more than enough room for your possessions and a good sized desk. The bathroom is plastic and not very beautiful but it remains clean and functional. The toilet is electric with handy cleaning features. There is also a bath/shower. Each bathroom has a soap, condtioner and shampoo dispenser, so you will not need to bring your own. Room service takes place around 1pm so you’ll sure to be out and not disturbed. Great staff too.
