“Ideal for Visiting College Students”

Rooms are clean, hotel staff brings new towels/toiletries every morning. The only problem is it's location. It is across the street from a strip of bars so the loud, drunk patrons can be heard from inside the rooms. Other than the noise, which isn't the hotel's fault, no complaints.

“Not Impressed”

I was not impressed with University Inn & Suites. The Hotel is located in the most convenience proximity to Florida State University but I found insects in the bathroom and my clothes. The hotel did refund one night’s stay when I reported the insect problem. I killed a 3 inch coach roach in the bathroom. The hotel is in serious need of repair and cleaning.

“HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!”

This hotel was terrible. There were bugs in the bathroom, sheets were stained and the room was dirty. When we complained the girl at the front desk said that there was nothing that she could do and that she would have the manager call us. I provided her with two numbers to reach us and we did not hear from the manager at all. Parking was awful and the area near the south and east end of the neighborhood appeared dangerous. It was very noisy with people partying to all hours. I will never stay at this hotel again and will tell all of our friends who visit the area to avoid it as well.

Area recommendations
We visit Tallahassee frequently and have stayed at the Hampton by I10 and Thomasville Road which was very nice. We have also stayed at the Homewood Suite on Appalachee Parkway and the Cabot Lodge . All of these hotels were just fine.
