“Very disapointed”

The stay was marginal, unfortunatly I have left my "Maison" Hairbrush behind, replacement value $ 140.00. I have contacted the hotel and was told there is no hairbrush. Extremely disappointing. Because of the loss I will never stay there again.

“Cleanest, best maintained motel”

“Just fine...”

The hotel was fine...nothing fancy, but reasonably clean and very easy to find. Nice location not far from eating establishments and area attractions. We just needed a decent place at a good price to spend the night on the way through the area and this fit the bill!

“Only if you have to”

This trip was really to just find a place to sleep for a college visit at FSU the next day. We arrived on a Thursday at 1am and checked out the next day by 1pm. The checkin was smooth and our room was ready when we arrived at 1am. We booked via Expedia and got a great price for the night and in reading previous reviews, this looked perfect for what we needed. It was HOWEVER, the curtains were badly stained, the bathroom door at the bottom was brittled and warped. The sheets were clean but they were not fitted sheets. Nobs were broken on the TV but it did function as needed. All-in-all, I would not stay here again because of the lack of cleanliness in the room but it was okay for a one-night sleep-an-leave situation. Pets are welcome. We travelled my wife and I, our two kids (17 and 15) and a 15lbs dog. Lastly, the continental breakfast had to be one of the worst ones we've experienced. The cream cheese had an after taste, the coffee was bitter, the toaster did not work well and there was a very limited selection.

Area recommendations

We did not get a chance to visit Tallahassee as we were there for a campus visit of Florida State University which was absolutely beautiful.

“Tally trip dec 09”

The only thing that I didn't like was that the beds were not Queen size and trying to fit 2 people in one bed is quite uncomfortable. Other than that everything else was great, TV, microwave and mini fridge. The room didn't have any odd odor and the staff was very nice.

“A place to lay your head...”

Nothing more nothing less. I would not recommend this hotel unless they upgrade the facilities. If you stay make sure you check for bed bugs.

“Tallahassee's Finest Hotel”

What a wonderful CLEAN updated hotel! Hotel was reasonably priced and offered lots of amenities. Room was clean, comfortable and smelled refreshing. The staff was very helpful with all my questions about the surrounding area. They gave me so many coupons for local restaurants without me even asking. They also had a real nice breakfast and it was always replenished. The location is amazing, walking distance to everything if you want to walk. My stay as wonderful, can't emphasize on how clean the hotel is. I will definately stay here again!!!!!
