Nice rooms, sorry about the food Posted 22-Sep-2012 on Hotels.com
I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, and must say that the initial greeting of the owner (limited English but tries) was good and room was clean, tidy and an acceptable size with nice shower. The location is a little harder to find, as it is in the back streets but the owner has tried to place signs around the town. The biggest weakness at the hotel however is food!!. The evening meal (which we took on one night) was plain and simple but has to be ordered in advance with the main course being a reasonable for the price. The desert was a rip off though, with a mark up of 600%. I personally would not take the breakfast if I was to stay again. None of the food is fresh, all long life packaged pots of meat paste and jam - no fresh eggs, ham or cheese - even the cakes were long life pre packaged tasteless. So overall, yes I would stay again but would not take the breakfast or evening meal option.
