Cons: Everything needs to be improved.
Location: Convenient to the Outlet shops and Lake Dillon.
This was not a good experience at all! The hotel was old and dingy. There was a lot of junk exposed in the garage areas when you pulled into the parking lot. The carpet in the hallways was horrible looking... who knows what kind of stains they were. The room was ok however, the sheets on the bed were very worn with holes in them as well as didn't look clean at all with hair on them. We even went out and bought a couple of blankets to lay over the bed so we wouldn't have to sleep on the bedding! The shower did not drain properly and the bathroom was very small and cramped to hardly move around in. I will never go back to this hotel. I don't know how it even got a two star rating!

Older than expected

Pros: Front desk was nice.
Cons: No smoking in front of hotel
Smoking right outside of door. Smell came in the lobby area. Pool was not welcoming (looked dirty). Room was right by stairs and heard stairwell noise late into the night. Bed spreads were faded.

Even though the hotel was a non smoking environment the room still smelled horribly of smoke and chemicals to mast the smoke environment.

This is not a high quality hotel but it is shelter and the people were kind enough! The pool is a kids pool, meaning it's 2 ft deep. There is a hot tub, though. A big one. The linens and bedding are of the scratchy sort and not for the germ- o- phobic;)

Awful, Filthy, Nasty

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Location is somewhat convenient.
This place is a dump! It smelled awful. The carpet was filthy, stained and dirty. The room itself was pretty sparse and outdated. The lamp shades were torn. The comforters came straight out of the 50's. I did not dare climb into the bed I wouldn't even sit on. I slept on the floor in my clothes on towels and using a hoody as my pillow. I considered sleeping in our vehicle, but didn't think that would be safe. The hot tub was dirty and way too hot to even get into (not that I tried, but my husband did and couldn't get in.) The "pool" is a kiddie pool measuring 18" deep; deep enough for my husband to cool of his feet. There was no lotion or conditioner in the bathroom. The hair dryer was coming out of the wall. The bathroom faucets were coming apart. In the shower, there was black stuff coming from behind the shower enclosure when the water was turned on. Basically, it probably would have been more comfortable camping.

Average roadside hotel - seemed well suited to construction workers or hikers needing a place to stay.

Would Not Recomend

Where to start? From the first step in this place had a bad vibe.the lady who checked us in was not friendly. I don't think I saw her smile the entire stay. She told me my prepaid reservation I still had to give a credit card for incidentals, which is fine. She told me it was a 10 dollar hold, that turned out to be a 234 dollar charge with no reason. I had to call my bank to cancel the transaction. All a that a side she took no responsiblity and told me that was impossible and that they didn't charge anything on my card. I still have my bank statement showing as charged. All stag were pretty uninterested in their positions. Our room was smelly Nd everything looked outdated. We didn't have sop or shampoo and had to ask front desk to deliver to us. Our drawers in the rooms were falling to pieces and some were broken. One of the beds had a dried up piece of pepperoni on it. We could. It sleep do to the notice from the guest who were upstairs the entire stay. Oh did I mention our carpets were nearly wet!!!! It was gross and I will never Recomend this place to anyone. Especially when we paid $139 a night for it. Terrible experience and terrible staff. Don't go there!

Worn out and in desperate need of remodel. Bed was comfortable, though.

Intentional vagueness in the ad - not the entire t

Pros: The hotel clerk was pleasant. The room was clean and the breakfast options were decent.
Cons: The bed and the television were both too old and worn out to even donate to a thrift store.
Location: The hotel is near the Silverthorne Outlet shops.
We were excited to stay at the Silverthorne Days Inn. The lobby was nice and clear. The clerk was pleasant. However, once we checked in, we found that what we thought we were paying for was different from what was offered. The room was clean and pleasant, but so small that the only place that you could set your bags was on the beds. One bed was fine. Trying to sleep in the other bed was like bedding down in a half-empty water bed. The television was fuzzy and off color. The remote control was taped together, but still did not work fully. The teenagers thought they would escape the cramped room by going for a swim, until they found out that the pool was a 2' wading pool - not great for swimming or anyone older than a toddler. We thought about checking out and changing hotels, but we decided to stay because one of us was feeling ill. The lesson I learned was to call and ask specific details before believing an ad. I would only stay there again if I absolutely had to.
