Close to the Slopes

Posted 31-Mar-2015
Pros: Loved the warm baked cookies provided in the lobby in the late afternoon. Front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful & courteous.
Cons: Free breakfast was average and the A/C was a little warm.
Location: Location 15 minutes from the slopes (Copper Mountain, Keystone) and right off the highway. Great ski rental place nearby (Pioneer Sports Colorado).
Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Room was a clean and bathroom had been renovated. Small microwave and refrigerator provided. Long desk workspace and great in-room wireless was extremely helpful.

Its an average hotel.

Rooms are cozy. Continenetal Breakfast is convenient. Rooms are overpriced at $150 during spring break. This should have been rented for $70/or less per night. The carpet in the room and lobby is dirty and worn out. Needs replacement.

Funny smell and loud.

Cons: Better air smell and better sound insulation.
Location: Very convenient to local ski hills and many restaurant choices nearby in Frisco.
The hotel staff were fine as was breakfast. However the hotel had a weird smell, such that we chose to keep our window open at night during a winter stay. The other disappointing feature was that the door to the adjoining room were very thin and we could clearly hear our neighbors even though they were speaking at normal levels.

Great location, close to major ski areas (Loveland, A-Basin and Copper) and Main Street for shopping and dining. Basic hotel, quiet, breakfast provided. Did have an issue with clogged shower that was finally resolved after 2 days and 3 requests.

One night between towns

Posted 21-Feb-2015 on Hotels.com
The room was small but we where only there for a few hours to sleep so it was perfect. The man at the front desk was very nice. The hot tubs were small but we lucked out and had them all to our self for long enough for us. The breakfast the next morning was great! The only I didn't like about this hotel was the soap they wash the linens in, it's cheap animal fat smelling. Other than that I would stay here again for sure.
