    “heaven for active people”

I stumbled upon this hotel through websearches and decided to give it a try. It was an absolutely wonderful 5 days. On average I took 4 different exercise/yoga/pilates a day with options running all day long by top quality instructors. In addition, water sports including scuba were all included in the rates and then you topped off your day with a massage just before watching the sunset in the wonderful location the hotel is located in. The food and drinks were good, but for me it was the setting right on the ocean (must get a ocean front of ocean view room) and the variety of top quality activities to whip anyone into shape.

    “so nice”

Le Sport is a wonderful resort! Most all the employees there are super nice and efficient. It is definitely a destination for someone who wants an active holiday. There are great water sports and land sports. The spa is great for a little pampering, but also lots of fitness classes. They also have dance classes and walks, jogs, and bike rides around the area. Every evening there is a "night life" activity. The variety of resteraunts make sure you have a selection of dining experiences. There is a focus on the healthy, but also plenty of decitant choices. Make sure you try the local rum. Do take the Rythum of Rum tour of the local distillary. My personal favorite drink is ginger ale with Chairman's Spice Rum. St. Lucia is beautiful, be sure to tear yourself away from the resort to explore this extrodinary destination/

See the whole island. Gros Islet, where the resort is located, is the prime real estate of the island, but there is so much more! The rain forest "tranopy ride" is a definate must do. Zipping lining throught the top of the rain forest is a once in a life time experience. Of course the Pitons are amazing. In my opinion, the best way to see them is to go to the Tet Paul trail. It is not at all strenous and very informative. It is hands down the best view of the Pitons.

    “Can't wait to go back!”

We had a great time at the resort. The daily spa treatments were wonderful, and the activities offered were extensive. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The food and beverages were great. If you are from the US, take a power strip. Our room had only one US outlet, which the clock was plugged into, so we had to unplug the clock every time we used a US appliance. We will definitely go back. The zip line ride in the rain forest was a great excursion. We highly recommend this resort.

“The Most Relaxing Vacation We Have Ever Taken!!!”

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the BodyHoliday our trip was fun and relaxing. From the staff to the guests we encountered such friendly people. The private seclusion of the resort was wonderful. The varieties of food and activities were amazing and cannot be beat anywhere! The main chef is extremely conscious of food preparation and presentation and offers an unlimited variety of foods to meet any diet type or restriction. Menus are well marked with symbols for shellfish, heart smart, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. And all the food was wonderful. The spa treatments were second to none. I enjoyed every single treatment I received. My favorite was definitely the ocean wrap. I had five ocean wraps and one lime and ginger scrub wrap. I went in with some soreness from my workouts each day and came out completely refreshed and pain-free. The activities were plentyful and the fact they were included in the price was amazing. We went sailing, snorkeling, tubing, and water skiing. We participatd in yoga, gym workouts, and pool fitness classes. There were more activites than one could even imagine participating in. And again, they were all included in the price. The evening cocktail party and the returners sunset cruise aboard a 60 ft. catamaran were so much fun. It gave us the opportunity to meet many fun and interesting guests that were staying at the resort. This Resort is a must for anyone interested in true relaxation!

    Area recommendations
We stayed on the resort for the majority of our trip. One day we did venture out with another couple and visited the Petons which I highly recommend seeing. Since The island of St. Lucia is known for these beatuiful towering peaks they are a must see. You might cinsider having lunch at at Ladera Resort so you can enjoy the breathtaking view and even catch a 5-minute rain shower and rainbow if you are lucky! We also visited Marigot Bay and Rodney Bay. Marigot Bay was very pcituresque and offered more seclusion, while Rodney Bay had more activity, people, and shopping. More of the commercial catamarans and fishing boats are located in Rodney Bay.
    What to pack
You will definitely want to pack a variety of mosquito and bug remedies. We were there during June and July and the bugs were plentyful at dusk. While the Resort did a lot to rid the bugs, you cannot control Mother Nature!!! Whatever your remedy is I strongly suggest bringing it. Bug spray, bug balm, DEET, tablets, etc. Don't go without them otherwise you will not be happy.

    “Can't get better than that!”

AMAZING, the people were entirely happy, accomodating, and impressingly friendly! Nothing was too much for them to handle and everything you needed was right there at the resort! Not to forget that the Spa at our resort and the people that work there did a wonderful job of making you feel not only relaxed but completely stress free! Even when we left the resort for some adventures we heard other people who were not as happy with their resort as we were with ours! SCORE!

    Traveller's tip
Deffinately hike the Gros Piton...amazing view!!! Also the Raint Forest Canopy Zip Line...wow!

    “Wholeheartedly recommend”

Hotel and grounds are beautiful and maintained to a very high standard. Food is fresh and very varied and very tasty. Activities are numerous, varied, easy to book, and well instructed and/or supervised. Staff were, without exception, friendly, charming and helpful. The spa was tranquil; we got to try a different spa treatment each day. We LOVED this holiday!

    Traveller's tip
There is so much to do as well as lovely places to relax and do nothing or read and sunbathe, next time I'd like to stay a bit longer and have more 'downtime'. Many people we met had been one, two, three, four or more times before.

    “Such a treat! Truly pampered!”

Although not as oppulent as some resorts, this resort offers better service and a Zen like quality. Not the place for nightlife, but excellent as a romantic getaway, and a great place to rejuvenate. The included spa treatments were excellent, and the food delicious. Although there isn't a multitude of restaurants to choose from, the lunch buffet varied day to day, and the evenings a la carte menu had daily variations. Everything tasted fresh and had a healthier quality than most resort food. A long stair climb to the spa provides much needed exersize before or after consuming too much food. The views alone are with the climb. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. The water sports team was friendly and patient, providing many opportunities to enjoy the water sports. We can't wait to return.

    “Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

If you are looking for a luxury, high end Vegas hotel with over the top marble and gaudy decor, this is not the place... The Body Holiday is an island paradise full of simple and practical relaxation, tasty food, great staff and fun activities. The spa is like no other, every masseuse made is a personal mission to try and rub and knead your stresses away. The "Body Guards" provided fun and challenging activities from personal training, yoga, water sports, scuba, snorkeling, etc... The guests were a mixture of European, Canadian, and American. The staff was over the top friendly, courteous and met our every need. The food was great, the variety presented wanted you to try everything. Our only regret is that we spent only 7 days there. We are trying to save up again and return as soon as we can.

    Traveller's tip
Traveling tips would include definately taking the helicopter shuttle if flying into the southern airport, sunscreen, extra bathing suits if you like to swim, snorkel, workout etc... There is daily rain showers during the day and it can get very humid at times. There is only a few areas of the resort that have air conditioning (all guest rooms do), but the restaurants and spa does not.

    “Great peaceful place to visit”

We went to the Body Holiday at LeSporte for our honeymoon. The all inclusiveness of the hotel was wonderful. Most things we wanted to do were included with the exception of extra spa treatments (the one a day that's included really is enough) and excursions around the island. The food was very good and there were normally several things to choose from each night that changed daily. If you don't like sea food the choices are limited however.
