“Great for What I Paid!”
Conference-goers attending events at the Renaissance or the America's Center Conference facility (both located just across the street) who are looking to save money by not staying at the Renaissance, should stay here! The Renaissance is a bit fancier, but you'll pay double for it! I was in town for a conference, which was being held at the Renaissance, and didn't spend much time in the room, so this place was fine. With the exception of somewhat slow and smaller elevators, a somewhat-staticky tv picture, and a low-pressure flushing toilet, the place was fine! None of these affected the quality of my visit. Both the cafe where you can grab simple breakfast items and Shula's bar/grill are very reasonably priced for being in a hotel. The staff was very friendly and personable. I will return to this hotel again when/if my conference is held in the neighborhood.
“Would definitely stay there again!”
We book the Roberts Mayfair because it was close to the Rams stadium. it was a few shorts blocks away. We paid less than $70 to stay there on the Staurday after Thanksgiving. The room was awesome. Honestly, I expected to get an older furnished room, but it was actually updated and looked just like the pictures. It had a blue/teal decor. Our room had a "living room" with couch, chair, desk and flat screen. The living room had french doors that opened up to our bedroom. The bedroom had a comfy bed, another flat screen, night stands, and dresser. The bathroom area was clean and neat. Even though you are downtown, the room was very quiet. The only issue we had was that our room was really warm upon arrival. we called maintenance and they were there in a matter of minutes. He turned off the heat and turned on the air for us, and it was just fine. Two other couples had stayed with us, and we all agreed that we were pleasantly surprised, and would stay there again if in the area. The hotel seemed to be remodeled.. I had a cool vintage feel with an updated touch. The parking garage is close by, and only about a 3-5 minute walk. I would definitely recommend it.
“Best staff on our trip”
We loved The Mayfair. The staff was very frindly and excellent answering our questions and meeting our needs. The manager gave us a great suggestion for breakfast and gave us late checkout so we could see the sights without moving our car. Great location for seeing the Arch and local museums. And our room with king bed and pull out sofa in the sitting room was perfect for our family of 5. We will definitely be back
“Historical Surroundings With Outstanding Service”
The Roberts Mayfair is a charming historical hotel with architectural charm. The staff are wonderfully accommodating, friendly, and have a great customer service attitude. The location is convenient to the convention center and downtown sporting events; good dining options are close by. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to others.
“amazing location amazing room great nightlife”
My buddy and I decided to make a trip down to see the rams game unaware of what to expect we checked into the hotel were really impressed with the size of the room cleanliness and how nice it was for the price, we then explored Washington street to check out the bars great food cute bartenders! That night we decided on going to the landing what a great decision amazing nightlife will def be going back. Went to the rams game was impressed with the stadium but the rams games are not going to compare to the bears games!
“meet me in st. louie”
it was fine
“Nice room for the price. Great location too.”
The hotel was perfect for what we needed. It was conveniently located in downtown STL. The staff were all very curtious and helpful. We did not have a remote for our TV and were quickly brought one after we called front desk for assitance. The hotel itself could use a paint job but the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was very clean and we paid 1/3 of what we would have paid if we stayed next door. I would definitely stay here again.
“St. Louis”
Great location, our room was nice and clean, very comfortable.
“It's alright for a short stay”
Couldn't stand the tv in the middle of the room. Made the room seem smaller.
