Each of 26 suites in this Napa Valley hotel is distinctly designed in the old-world fashion of Spanish California. Built from 100-year-old oak beams reclaimed and trucked out from an aged barn in Ohio, Rancho Caymus has been crafted to recreate the hacienda architecture from Napa Valley’s past. The spacious, split-level suites are crafted from bright stucco walls surrounding distinctive handmade furnishings from Ecuador and Southern Mexico. Guests slumber upon hand-carved black walnut beds, beneath artisan created wrought iron light fixtures.

Rancho Caymus Inn blends these rustic Napa influences with the modern comforts of first-class lodging. “Nice place in Rutherford”

Good location in walking distance to wine tasting and Rutherford Grill (fantastic fall of the bone baby back ribs), nice room with fireplace and terrace

“charming and well located”

after a long trek, the hospitality of rancho caymus was just what we needed! The staff goes out of their way to be friendly, helpful, and see to your needs, which is a hallmark of this family owned hotel. Our room --- and we were accorded a complimentary upgrade --- was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Although there are not restaurants on site, one of the best is located just yards from Rancho Caymus. The hotel is well located to access either Yountville or St. Helena for other options. We stayed in seven hotels during our California travels, and this one was towards the top of the list.

“ranch in the middle”

Caymus Ranch was in a great location. Although there was various activities to choose from (food, groceries, wineries), the hotel was quiet and had a warm inviting environment. The staff was also very cordial and willing to help out with any questions.

“Napa hotel”

Very nice and quaint hotel, centrally located in Napa Valley. It is next to the Rutherford Grill which has no corkage fee for wine.

“Very Impressed”

Rancho Caymus surprisingly exceeded my expectations. The pictures on their website actually don't do it justice. It's a small place, but the rooms are awesome! We loved the outdoor patio which was surrounded with vines and was very private. It's in a great location, right in the middle of Napa Valley, which worked out great for all the wine tasting. The complimentary breakfast is nothing special but did the job. I would highly recommend if you're going to Napa.

“Best location in Napa Valley”

You cannot beat Rancho Caymus for location central to touring Napa Valley Winerys. The rooms are very comfortable, with fireplaces that are set up for you to enjoy, the desk knowledgable and everyone on the staff, especially housekeeping, is pleasant and looking for ways to make you stay pleasant. This was our third visit and we would highly recommend.

Dining

Make the most of the wonderful restaurants nearby. Yountville is just a few miles down the road from Rancho Caymus and has some of the best restaurants in the country.

“Perfect location!”

The hotel was nice and clean. I wish breakfast would be better organized and they'll not have almost empty trays more than 30 minutes before the end of breakfast time.

Area recommendations

Moving along Highway 29 & Silverado Trail will give you the best taste of wince country.
