“comfortable bed, clean room, good price, quiet”

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The Ramada here is not a resort. It is a place to get a good night of sleep after traveling or seeing sights. We had a restful, quiet night.

“Great, convenient hotel”

I choose this hotel with some skeptism because it was a 21/2 star. I expected less clean bathrooms, less clean pools, and a very dated room. I was so surprised that this hotel was every bit as clean as any three star I've ever stayed in. In fact, the whole hotel seemed to be recently rennovated and even the bathroom was hair free. The bedding was clean, carpets clean, towels were newer, and staff was very helpful. There is a Denny's attached with 24 hour room service, but there are other eateries very close i.e. McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC, etc. I recommend a little buffet just around the corner Whistle Junction. This eatery is family affordable and the selections are homemade and extensive-great quality. There is a pool, jaccuzzi, and a little grassy play area for the kids that has swing/slide. Overall, this hotel is a a straight shot to the Kennedy Space Center and only minutes away, very clean, affordable rate and offers much more than I expected for a 2 1/2 star.

“Great hotel for visiting Kennedy Space Center for Shuttle launch”

Booked this room to head to the Kennedy Space Center for the last launch of the space shuttle (STS-135) and have no real complaints. Quality hotel at a reasonable price and convenient to have Denny's attached and have free vouchers for a Denny's Breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. Felt very lucky to have gotten reservations here as we were exhausted after the space shuttle launch and pitied those who had to fight the traffic to go back to Orlando. Air conditioning kept us nice and cool in the 100 degree weather. Would stay here again if I were in town.

“Can't wait to go back.”

We always use this hotel when visiting Orlando as it has a fully set up kitchenette so can eat in room if wanted to and a lounge room separate to the bedroom area. Staff are friendly and helpful and is at the crossroads for trips to Daytona/Disneyland/Kennedy Space Centre (NASA) all within an hour's drive. There are shops opposite ie Walmart/Target/Lowes Hdw/Home Depot/Aldi etc. It has a Dennys restaurant attached and there is a Steakhouse across the road. We bought food at Walmart and heated it in the room but there is a stove top for cooking too. Hotel has a nice outdoor pool area and children's playground. We have no problem highly recommending this hotel to others.

You can visit NASA over two days as it is just up the road (11 miles) for seeing the space program and launch sites Disneyland is an hour away along 4 lane highways Daytona NASCAR Speedway is 45 mins away for the racing or Richard Petty NASCAR Driving Experience Coco Beach is half an hour away for boating or surfing.

“Will Never stay in Ramada Inn”

There was no Microwave and refrigerator in the room. when i booked a hotel i particularly checked that one but the hotel person told us that we didn't book directly ,so they are not responsible whatever on website where u booked. I don't know whose fault that was.......

“Hotel Stinks”

This hotel still smells like cigarettes. Needs a major cleaning

“Just fine”

The hotel was what you would expect for the money. Rundown but kept up well. Clean, sparse rooms. The AC was not working in the first one and they gave us a new room no problem. Then when we forgot something in the first room, they quickly met us and helped us retrieve our item. Very nice front desk staff. The free breakfast at Denny's was nice but get tiresome after 2 days. The only real complaint is that they should not be allowed to raise the rates to the extreme when there is a space shuttle launch.

Area recommendations

New Smyrna Beach was an excellent beach. Not too crowded. Plenty of public parking.

“Okay for One Night”

Booked a room with a king bed. After getting room assignment we found it had been half-way cleaned with trash bags, the vacuum cleaner sitting in the room and the bed stripped... looked like the maid may have just decided to quit while doing the room. This room was supposed to be smoke free but reeked of cigarette smoke. Given an "upgrade" to a suite with two queen beds and a rather sorry mini-kitchen. Luckily we only needed the room for the night to get a few hours of sleep before finishing our trip to Ft. Lauderdale. For the price I would consider one night, but probably not stay there for any extended period of time. It had 2 1/2 starts, but I would give it 1 1/2.
