Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: the diner restaurant
Cons: just the wifi disaster!
Location: close to sevenoakes only an hour from central london
stayed here whilst visiting my brother in sevenoakes and going to see eminem in wembly, great hotel friendly staff only minus no internet for two days whilst we were there which meant i couldn,t do any work or contact collegues! not sooo good and no move to compensateus for this, note to staff;if its in the brochure, advertising free wifi should be upheld and available otherwise customers should be compensated for lack of this service, lets face it i would,nt of booked it if it didn,t have it in the first place!!!

Good overnight stay

Posted 06-Jul-2014
Despite the unusual pink facade of the building the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff on arrival was excellent . My room was clean fresh and bright. Bed very comfortable and i slept soundly even though my window looked out onto the busy road.i would definitely recommend .

Fine for a short stay - Friendly staff

Posted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: Clean room Diner decor Friendly staff
Cons: Air conditioning in rooms. Service in the diner.
I stayed with my girlfriend for the night as we had a party in Otford. Our room was a bit on the small side but was very clean and had a nice en suite. If you visit in the summer make sure you ask for a fan as there is no AC in the room. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We were initially very impressed with the 50's themed diner but that changed after breakfast. It took 45 minutes for our food to arrive (an omelette and scrambled egg on toast!) and the food was average and very greasy. It also became apparent that this was clearly a favourite destination for kids parties/family meals as there were kids everywhere. In conclusion this hotel is fine for a quick stay, but not ideal for a couple wanting to having a relaxing weekend break. Even though the 50's diner decor is impressive the food is less so.

Close to good transport links

I've stayed here before and rated it highly. This time we were in a 3 bed room and there were a few problems. The room and bathroom were spacious and the d├ęcor and bed linen generally good. The window looked out onto a very ugly small industrial estate. This should have been screened by a net curtain. The window blind was very faded at the bottom and there was a stain on the stool. The worst thing was from 10 pm there was a very loud external noise caused by a fan or motor of some sort which made sleeping difficult. The noise was there when I woke at 7am and did not stop for the next 2 hours. It really was so loud it was quite disruptive and spoiled our stay. I will think twice about staying again. I put this information on the feedback form in the room.

Prehistoric Mattress

Posted 23-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
The mattress in the room was worn out down one side causing me to roll out of bed several times while sleeping. When we came back from our first day out the room had been cleaned and made up, great only they had taken the towels which we had hung up as they were fine to use again and not left any replacements. The grout in the shower was also mouldy, all small issues but not what you want when on holiday.

Great Place to Stay with a Different Feel

Posted 15-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is based on an American themed diner. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are very clean, albeit, small. But the rooms have a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a phone. The bed is comfortable and the bed linen and towels are very clean. The hotel is attached to an American style diner, we did not eat in the diner, but it was popular and the food looked good quality.

Good value for money

We satisfied overall, very clean and comfortable room. One thing our room was a bit noisy because of next to the main road, but we are happy to stay again in future.

Great Location.....

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: Value for money with the American Diner experience
Cons: Room Temperature controls...
Location: Reason of stay was to visit Hever Castle and other historic sites around Sevenoaks and the county
Check in was very quick and friendly hotel staff....the room was very clean and very good value for the money. Having the American Diner experience attached to the hotel was very good and very enjoyable... Only one critique is that the room itself was very warm with no temperature controls and only a fan, so it did become very stuffy and uncomfortable....did open the window but being on the road side of the hotel made it very noisy... However, I would definately stay there again, if I take a trip down into Kent.
