Beautiful hotel, inexperienced staff falls short
The hotel and amenities itself are 5 star. Gorgeous hotel. The staff however are not trained at a 5 star level. Simple requests of any luxury hotel- ie pre paying for certain amenities (breakfast, sauna), so guests never receive a bill to sign are not honored. They wouldn’t even let my mother take her am coffee from breakfast despite the $75 / person charge and the fact that all in room dining / plateware in the hotel is the same. My colleague who was also staying here was taken to an uncleaned room twice. Staff otherwise appear “friendly” but don’t have luxury hospitality training and appear to be reading from a handbook.

Awesome hardware, poor service
Great hardware, not so great service. Staff members seem mostly extremely in-experienced. They seem nervous, new, inexperienced and without any room to serve customers within their remit. This results in protocol-driven service, not customized for customers needs. Gave me an impression female staff members might be hired for their look more than experience.

My stay at Josun Palace was nothing short of extraordinary. In my view, the hotel successfully combined luxurious accommodation, state-of-the-art technology, and exceptional service. It is obvious that every detail in the hotel has been thoughtfully curated to ensure the utmost comfort and satisfaction of its guests. The level of attentiveness and politeness exhibited by staff was remarkable. It would be remiss of me to not add that Jin from the concierge was patient and provided good recommendations. Breakfast in the hotel was decent, albeit at a rather steep price. In terms of downsides, I note that the taxi drivers I encountered were reluctant to drive to the entrance of the hotel (which is located in the basement). Furthermore, the hotel is not particularly close to the main tourist attractions and strangely levies a charge if you want to use the sauna.

It’s nice- don’t get me wrong. They try very hard. It is not the place for you though if you have tattoos- not stated when you book that large tattoos are not allowed at pool- and if you are sensitive to smells. There is a pungent artificial flower smell pumped through the hotel- almost like they are covering up something else. The toilet rooms are separate in the hotel rooms- thought this was a nice touch til I realized there is a distinct smell of old plumbing that is characteristic in old Korean buildings that wafts up. Can’t cover that up. HUGE tv. Area is very commercial. Thought it would be easier for public transportation but this was challenging to navigate also. We checked out early and staff were very accommodating in this so will give staff the stars but I found it difficult to communicate effectively with them in English- which was a bit surprising. I felt it was a hotel for Koreans who are looking for a bit of a Vegas-y, Korean drama type experience

Absolutely fantastic hotel, with stellar service. From the first contact with the concierge desk before our trip to repatriating some glasses forgotten at a rental car location, not even linked with the Josun Palace, the service is one of the best we ever got in any hotel in that category. The location is good in Gangnam, and the hotel is beautiful and in perfect condition. It will be difficult to go anywhere else when we go back to Seoul.

Everything was pricy at the bar and restaurants. staff was very nice. Hotel staff told us to estimate 1hr to the incheon airport. it took almost 2hrs. just beware that traffic is horrible at this area.

My recent stay at the Josun Palace...
I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Josun Palace. It is a beautiful hotel... Even though I was in Seoul for work, I felt like I was there on vacation. It was nice to come back to the Josun Palace after running from one meeting to another one. The service from each staff was excellent, particularly the basement lobby staff/Jack Kim and his team. There were certain inconveniences - like the taxis unable to find the right hotel entrance or unwilling to drop me right off at the basement lobby and it would have been nice for the Josun Palace restaurants to earmark some tables for hotel guests and not just external ones who made reservations - but that will not dissuade me from staying at the Josun Palace in the future.

Josun Palace is beautiful in every way. The staff are kind and speak English well as well as are patient listeners. The location is perfect; and it has several luxury cars parked at the entrance as well as available cars for transportation. Dining is buffet style, or you may order; and it has any food you can imagine you desire to eat. The pool is large and grandeurs. The rooms are like mini apartments with a closet of wines, teas, coffee, and utensils. I did not want to leave. I definitely will return and recommend this hotel to all who desire to experience pure rest and relation, fun, fine dining and the lap of luxury.

interior design, shower room. amenities and location of the hotel are very good. I couldn't use the app for the cab (kakao Taxi), but Mr. Lucas Jeong at the concierge desk located on the first floor helped me get it very kindly and professionally. Definitely, I will come back in the near future. I hope this hotel also has an executive lounge program like hotel Shila in order to enjoy the meal and lounge service.

Overpriced.
Totally awful. They've placed used shampoo, conditioner, body wash. It's not sealed. Very poor build quality of bathroom. Slow and inaccurate services. Taking too long time for everything. such as check-in, request something in the room, check-out. Most strange thing is they were trying to fix the bathtub in my room while I'm in the room. I never asked, did they want to disturb my stay? Don't expect something to the club lounge. You can get only 3 cookies and coffee, 2 glasses of cocktail, cheeses during your whole stay. I don't know what did I pay for.
