We couldn't sleep all night due to the noise from the street! Both of the beds had a stain and the room had a bad smell.

We stayed for 2 weeks at Hotel Terminal in Rome, Italy in Feb- Mar 2024. EXTREMELY CONVENIENT: the location of the hotel is walking distance (about 3 minutes walking) to station that offers city Metro (several locations inside the city of Rome) and Italy city-to-city train (one way ticket per person to Fiumicino Airport is 14 Euros) and station also offers couch bus transportation just right outside of the station to both airports (I don't remember if it was 8 or 14 Euros per person/one way). This station also has a few shopping stores, several food options in 1st floor and the upper floor is a food court. Near the hotel there are a few restaurants, fast food restaurants, grocery store and self-service laundromat. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and staff were really friendly. Television did not have local channels but did have internet access to well-known video- media platform programming. It was 3 people in my family so we each slept in a twin size bed just as stated in the description of our hotel booking. Our room had an outside view and it was clean. The shower takes a few minutes for the hot water to start but once the hot water starts there is plenty. The bathroom did not have a lock but it was not a big issue for us since my family respected each other by not opening the door when being in used and not a big issue since the bathroom was only for our room and not to be shared with others.

Okay the lift was acceptable fit all three of us at the same time but it broke down on the last night and the luggage had to be brought down 5 flights of stairs. There were scorch marks on the outlets and walls by the outlets. The outlets were placed so that your converter needed something underneath it to properly fit in the outlet. So I used the luggage to properly support the converters. The bathroom was small, cramped, old and outdated there was a shower curtain on the shower and it was very small leaked all over the floor when bathing. There is a laundry right across the street but no very good food within 5 blocks. All the immediate area restaurants were subpar. For good food you almost must leave the Termini area. Additionally, they require you to give them your room key every time you leave the hotel. Why I'm unsure as they have a pass key and were able to enter our room while we were sleeping. There was a small balcony with a chair to sit on. There is no breakfast or coffee on site.

Convenient location close to Termini station, if you need to be within walking distance for traveling. Otherwise I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are very dated, the radiator in the bathroom was dripping (they had a towel on the floor to soak up the water), the shower was old and barely drained - everything was just old and on the verge of breaking. Staff was good though; friendly enough and 24hr shifts, so convenient for checking in/out early or late. Area around the hotel seemed a bit dodgy and dirty, but otherwise safe enough.

I had read very mixed reviews on this hotel before we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to walk in to a bright, clean and airy room with good AC. Who recommended this property to anyone visiting Rome

Don’t stay here
This hotel is not as portrayed in the photos . We were given a room on 5th floor which was absolutely disgusting , dirty bed linen , and just generally a disgusting room . There was no dinning room as shown on the website . We were given a different room as I complained which was slightly better but again not as shown in photos . The staff just shrugged their shoulders and were disinterested with our complaints . The second night after we returned from a day of sight seeing the dirty towels that we had left on the floor to be cleaned had been picked up and folded on our beds . I went to reception to ask for clean towels and was told that you only got clean towels every other day . In the end I got 2 clean towels to use . The bed linen was discoloured and not premium as discribed on website . Hotels .com should remove this disgusting hotel from their site .

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early to drop our bags off but our rooms were ready which was a lovely surprise. Great access to Rome Termini and local shop’s & restaurants.

After riding the train (with no AC for 3 hours) I got here, the girl at the reception was wonderful. I got in my room and the AC was a relief! She scheduled me a taxi for the morning and had a perfect night’s rest before leaving in the morning.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to transportation. The only negative was that in the middle of a heat event in Italy, the air conditioning was marginal. The room was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Had a fantastic time in Rome. The hotel was ok. I wouldn’t stay there again. The Tv did not work. There was no tea coffee facility available. If your looking for a hotel just to get your head down then I would recommend it but if you like a little comfort then this is not for you.

The Hotel was convenient for us since we were there for less than 10 hours. It was only for one night so we could catch an early train form the train terminal. My room was ok, but the bed super hard. It is an old hotel but relatively ok. But my son’s room was not very clean. And he says he could hear everything outside.

Very handy for Termini and the concierge went out of his way, even giving me a brolly to keep dry on way back to the airport. NB the underpass at Termini takes you to the SIT bus for Ciampino

The hotel is in a great location but in need of updating. Our room was small & needed decorating. The bathroom was very small & it was difficult to have a shower as the shower head didn’t fit properly & the shower cubicle was very small. The staff were very friendly & helpful & it was useful to have a fridge in our room.

Room location is a few walkable blocks from the train station. Very quiet at night. Clean. Nothing exciting if you plan on staying in your room. If you plan on using it for sleeping as you will be out and about it will suit you fine. Wall in our room could use paint
