“Best Resort In Cancun / Rivera Maya”

My fiancé and I spent a week at Valentin Imperial Maya and we had a wonderful stay. We have been to Cancun about four times and this was the best by far. The service was exceptional and probably the highlight of our stay. The beach was perfect with a solid mix of clean beach and coral that was full of colorful fish perfect for snorkeling. It was also perfect for folks looking for a quiet relaxing stress free vacation. We went to almost all of the restaurants and never a complaint, we especially liked the sushi and French restaurants. There were plenty of free activities available such that we didn’t leave the resort all week. We went to the spa for couples massage and it was so great we went back two days later. I could spend all day giving you reasons to go to the Valentin but just hit click and see for yourself, this place is the best and for the price it is a steal. Highly recommend!

“GREAT VACATION”

TRAVELED WITH 2 OTHER COUPLES. ROOM READY AT 10:00AM. DID NOT HAVE TO STORE LUGGAGE, BUT WAS PREPARED TO DO SO. UPGRADED TO OCEANFRONT ROOMS NO CHARGE. EVERYONE IN MY PARTY WAS PLEASED. ONE ROOM HAD TROUBLE WITH AIRCONDITIONING THE OTHER WITH SPA TUB. BOTH WERE FIXED WHEN THEY CALLED FRONT DESK. MY ROOM DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. YES WALKING INVOLVED BUT IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING. BEACH GREAT AND POOLS AND BOTH POOL SWIMUP BARS SUPER. WE DID PLAY THE TOWEL GAME FOR SHADE. SOME PEOPLE DID NOT SHOW UP FOR 4-5 HOURS. THAT IS ANNOYING. THEY DO NEED MORE SHADE ON THE BEACH BUT THERE ARE PLENTY OF CHAIRS AVAILABLE. FOOD WAS FINE AND HAD LITTLE WAIT AT RESTAURANTS. DID GO TO 2ND CHOICE ONE NIGHT AS IT WAS 90 MIN WAIT AND WE WERE HUNGARY. THAT SAID I ENJOYED HAVING A FEW PREMEAL DRINKS. WE WERE NOT HUNGARY AND BREAKFAST BUFFET AWESOME. WORKOUT ROOM SMALL AND CROWDED IN EARLY AM. JUST GO WALK THE GROUNDS. MUST BE 3/4 MILE TO THE ROAD. STAFF FRIENDLY. BEACH VENDORS FOR SILVER ETC THERE IN AM. PRICES REASONABLE. WILL RETURN SOMETIME AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT FOR OVERALL VALUE, FOOD, AND CLOSENESS TO AIRPORT.

“Amazing time!”

We spent 5 days at the Valentin Imperial Maya. We had six people in our party. When we arrived we were greeted with champagne. Our rooms were upgraded. The room was very nice and clean. The grounds and pools were amazing and so clean! The food was great especially the japenese restaurant, we did the habachi style dinner it was amazing!Service in the restaurants was a little slow especially in La hacienda( mexican restuarant). Tip is included in the price but we did tip, the staff works really hard. We will definantly stay there again!

“Probably one of the best resorts”

The staff was extremely pleasant and accomodating. The facilities were wonderful. It was easy access to the beach. Everything was wonderful except our experience with Dollar Rent-a-car. We will never use Dollar again.

“Good value and a great experience at the Valentin Imperial Maya”

We were impressed with the condition of the hotel and grounds, the size of the room and the amenities. No kids makes a big difference at an all-inclusive resort. This was a much more relaxing and enjoyable vacation than others where kids were allowed. The food was good, especially the French restaurant. Men must wear pants at that one... The beach was perfect- big waves, beautiful turquoise water. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Overall a wonderful trip!

“Beautiful Resort that met all of our expectations!”

The grounds are beautifully maintained. The beach was very nice, half is rocky and half is not, so you get to see some baby fish in the tide pools and relax on the beach. Service is phenomenal. Food was good at the French, Japanese, and Mexican. It was alright at the italian. It was not great at the seafood, and was terrible at the steak place. Room Service was on time during regular hours, but the food and service was terrible after hours. The shows at the resort were very entertaining and are worth checking out. We had one of the on-site photographers, Raffa, take some engagement photos which turned out amazing. He did an extremely professional job and it was an easy choice to buy the photos. To get to Playa del Carmen it is approx. $20 by Cab, or approx. $3/person on the public bus (get the bell hop to drop you off at the entrance, walk all the way across the highway when going to playa del carmen, a mercedes type van will slow down to pick you up with a plack in the window saying playacar/playa del carmen). It is very easy to do and saves some cash. I never felt like we needed a flashlight like some other reviewers. Also the walking is not that bad, but you probably wouldnt want to wear high heels. We bought tours through Emir Marcos with Hotel Extras (first kiosk on left where all the brochures are, have cash though as the exchange they give you costs 5% on top of your credit cards international fee - Visa 2%).
