“Good value”

Nice owners, eager to accommodate. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was great.

“A perfect hotel in Portland with an unbeatable rate that's safe & clean”

This hotel was recommended by brother whose friend recently stayed here. We had been travelling for a week & needed a place to stay that was cost efficient. Since we also had planned to do a lot of sightseeing we knew we would not be in our room for lengths at a time. The great rate and being just blocks away from my brother's door, we could not have been happier. Every nook & cranny in the place was clean. Room service was taken care of daily and they do have wi-fi. I highly recommend it, if you are looking for an inexpensive safe & clean place to stay.

“better than expected by far”

my stay was enjoyable. i was surprised at how quiet it was given that the road and the trolley is not even 30 yards away. bed was comfortable and a great idea having 3 different types of pillows to allow for guests individual preferences. the room was clean. this is not a hotel room that one spends hours in. it is basic but the room is well laid out. not having a car it was excellent to have the trolley just a minute walk away and only 15 minutes from pioneer square in d'town portland. i would definitely stay here again , it was very affordable. there is not much in the immediate area. but only a short drive or short trolley ride to the Convention centre or The Rose Garden.

can't really say i would have a fave neighborhood at this time
Getting around
easy city to get around in with public transportation. travelled without a car in portland. weather it was bus, trolley or street car it is easy to get around in portland. affordable with day passes. and trolleys go to malls or the airport .. as well as being free in a rather large area of the portland d\town.
