“Only if you must”
The rooms are dark and musty/smoky. The beds are not comfortable. Stuff seems dirty, the carpet is peeling. However, the grounds are nice, the breakfast is fine, and the pool is passable. The location is wonderful - out in the desert, close to Taliesin, close enough to downtown/old town Scottsdale. The price is right. But if you can find another hotel, stay there. Both nights we were there, there was a party - it seems to be the place locals book sweet 16s and wedding receptions. Loud drunks out by the pool all night so you can't keep your window open. Not recommended.
“I'd rather sleep in my car than stay at The Inn at Pima!”
At check-in, we found that the room we reserved and confirmed by phone with two queen sized beds was a smoking room. When we requested a non-smoking room, we were told that the only non-smoking rooms were those with two full sized beds. We were told that the substitution was of equal value because the original room had an exterior entrance and the substitution room had a interior entrance. (LOL!) We asked for a credit but we were refused one. I'll never stay here again. But if you choose to do so, definitely ask for a non-smoking room as Arizona does allow smoking in hotel rooms and this is what you'll get if you don't check ahead of time.
“Best value in Phoenix”
This hotel location is convenient to shopping, and the hwy loop, giving easy access to Phoenix attractions. Although an older facility, The Pima Inn is well run, friendly staffed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast bar is well supplied, and clean. Overall value in this Inn is unbeatable. We would certainly stay again! .
“Would use again”
The room was very satisfactory. We found it clean and quite large. We only stayed one night as we were on a trip, etc., but would stay there again.
“Just like a resort”
Loved, loved, loved the Inn at Pima. Quiet, clean, comfortable and a fabulous breakfast bar. Hotel employee's were extremely helpful and polite. We are definately staying there again next time we are in town.
“Have stayed here several times”
In a quiet neighborhood area, but convenient to activities in Scottsdale and Tempe
“dog friendly, will return”
I was in Phoenix for a dog show. This is a great hotel to stay at if you have a dog. Lots of clean grass. It is an older hotel, and some areas could use a little paint and attention, but it was very clean. My king suite room was very large. My dog and I enjoyed the trip. I would recommend the hotel, particularly if you have a dog.
“Excellent location and will stay again”
We were very pleased with the Inn at Pima. The staff were friendly and the breakfast offered is more and of better quality than most. Will defineately stay here again.
“will go back”
