Dirty sheets, cigarette burns, and a cockroach?

Posted 30-Mar-2015
The sheets were never changed over the 3 days we were there. The sheets and towels were dirty, my dad's bed sheet had a hole from a cigarette burn. A dead cockroach in the bathroom. There was a nasty dirty hand towel hanging from the shower curtain rod when we got there and it was there the whole time. Overall feeling? Dirty.

Pros: It was close to where we needed to be. That's it.
Cons: The whole place needs some attention badly.
Facility is in need of attention. Popcorn ceiling in room is falling. Room key wouldn't work. Went to office twice to get it recoded. Not helpful, just said keep trying. 10 minutes of trying and it luckily popped open. Overcharged $50- from Expedia reservation. Toilet flushed every third or fourth time. Noisy street,

The reason we chose this Motel is that it was close to an RV park where we were visiting.

Cost was inepensive

Bath tub would not drain, the toilet was backing up into tub. Worst of all, the sheets and pillow covers were dirty or stained. We slept in our sleeping bags. Never been to Phoenix, but that's what I will remember.

Pros: This Isn't "THE RITZ", But for The Money, I Was Treated As THEIR GUEST, Anything They Could To Help They Did!!!
Cons: Larger Sign In Front!
The Overall Stay At This Motel Was A VERY PLEASANT Stay. The Front Office Was Always There To Help Out, And Friendly. The Continental Breakfast (Coffee,Juice and Muffins) Everyday Was Good (Coffee GREAT!).

You could do better

This place is old and tired, cigarette burns in the bed spread, no TV remote, room is very small, bed is hard and towels are thin. On the upside the air conditioning worked well. Added highlight was listening to amorous couple in the next room.

Use this property as a last resort

Posted 15-Mar-2015
Pros: Not much
Cons: Property needs a very complete cleaning.
Location: The neighborhood has gone downhill in the last several years
Selected this property for my father in law because of recent hip surgery requiring an accessible room. Upon check in my father in law was assigned a non accessible room and had to go back to the front desk to get an accessible room. My father in law arrived at his room to find active mold growing in the shower. My father in law complained to the front desk and was told it was the only accessible room "take it or leave it". Later in the night my father in law needed extra pillow to help him sleep and was told housekeeping was already gone and no one had access to the linen room. Grateful he only had to spend one night at the property.

Deferred maintenance

Our reserved room was not clean, hardware hanging off walls, and smelled very bitter. The replacement room, not to our reservations and charged at same price, lacked towels, some hardware, and the door lock was inoperable.

Not the best area of town, hotel room was rundown. Not spacious, bed sagged and pillows were worn down. Dated d├ęcor. Door did not have a latch and the draperies did not cover the window completely. People who lived at the motel were sitting outside of their rooms in chairs and in cars outside my room. The room did not have typical amenities
