Excellent value!

Posted 14-Dec-2014
Pros: Very attractive inside, lobby and rooms. Patio area too. Comfy bed and blankets
Cons: Fix the locks on the outside doors. The exterior could use some brushing up. Poor quality bar soap
This is the best hotel value I've experienced in years. The rooms are modern, comfortable and attractive. The lobby is beautiful, comfortable beds etc. In our room the lights besides the beds had attached goose neck reading lights so you could read without keeping your partner awake. Nice touch. Couple little issues. From what I can see, the non smoking building is the one that fronts the highway and the traffic noise is quite loud. The non smoking building is the one on the quiet side of the hotel. We had a recurring issue with our key cards not working on the outside doors, and had to keep schlepping around to find a door we could get into. The breakfast in the morning was of good quality. Eggs, sausage, pastries, etc etc, they even had decaf coffee which many hotels do NOT. I would recommend this hotel to anyone searching for a comfortable stay at a great price

Dirty - stay away

Posted 03-Dec-2014
Pros: nothing!
Cons: clean the place up; replace the carpeting; ensure clean sheets, bedding throughout; it's a mess - even Motel 6 is better than this one.
Location: location not bad, but couldn't wait to get out of hotel and back on the road we didn't stick around to check anything out
This was the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in - definitely not a 3 star hotel- more like a 1 star. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but sheets stained. Rooms stank really bad. Free breakfast buffet average at best. Because of this experience and 1 prior, will never stay at another Comfort Inn. Our company has a PO for Comfort Inn in various cities in Az - am recommending we close them and find alternative accommodations for our staff.

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Not much, was close to where I needed to be the next day.
Cons: Remodel
Cheap place to stay one night. Place felt old and run down, but seemed clean enough. Staff needs to change their mopping water more often, the lobby area by the elevators smelt of mildew even as staff was mopping.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Hotel public areas such as the lobby, pool area and hallways need to be renovated. Room is OK but the overall ambiance is not the greatest.
Location: Location is good since it is right on the freeway and restaurants are shopping are nearby although not within walking distance.
The room is Ok and fairly clean. Housekeeping was good. Room was nicely cleaned everyday. The complimentary breakfast is disappointing. The bread is old. The bananas were almost black and the eggs were terrible. I never ate breakfast there after the first day. The room is OK but the overall atmosphere of the hotel is not the greatest. The hotel is old and in need of renovating. The location was good. I probably will not stay there again. If all you want is a room then it works. I forgot to mention the ice machine did not work and neither did the washing machine or dryer.

Ok hotel.

Posted 20-Nov-2014
Pros: Breakfast was okay, USA newspaper a plus, and the breakfsast area was roomy and clean. Parking was convenient.
Cons: Have a the plumbing including the drains work properly, outside lighting to go on at sunset, and make sure the toaster works.
Location: Good access to highway 17 which allows access to the airport. Lots of fast food and gas stations in the area.
Generally all was ok except for a couple of things I found annoying and unacceptable. The drain in the room sink was missing completely. I wear hard contacts and I want to be able to close the drain when cleaning my contacts. The outside lighting in the entry ways and around the buildijng where not set to go on until an hour after dark. This is a safety hazard. The morning breakfast room was very nice but the toaster did not work and there was no micro wave to reheat the eggs if you desired to make things warmer. And only one waffle maker in a hotel of this size was very inconvenient duriing crowds.

Needs repairs

Posted 13-Nov-2014
Pros: breakfast included. free wifi
Cons: Needs repairs in main areas.
Location: nice access to freeway
The room was non-smoking but every time we walked in there was an odor like someone had sprayed something to cover up smoke. Bed was comfortable and nice office space. No fridge and when we tried to get one, they said they would see what they could do and call back. Never heard back. Ice machine on our side was broken. Carpet in halls was in bad shape. Breakfast was nice and staff was friendly and quick. Lighting in the room was minimal. Other than the smell, the room seemed clean.

The hotel was a mess, from the smell, to bugs to dark hallways. It look's like it was closed

Nice hotel if you stay on the south wing

Posted 03-Nov-2014
Pros: Hot tub was relaxing
Cons: They need to put fridge and microwave in rooms
South wing nice and quiet, north side next to a busy street and also some on the air conditioners are pretty noisy when running. All in all nice hotel

Prostitutes and pimps

Posted 02-Nov-2014
There were numerous prostitutes and pimps frequenting the hotel. If I hadn't prepaid for this stay, I would have left immediately.

Good price. I'd stay there again but . . . .

Posted 24-Oct-2014
Pros: Clean rooms, recreation room, comfortable beds & bedding.
Cons: Fix ice machine. Make breakfast more healthy.
Location: Phoenix Temple, Shopping along Bell Road.
Breakfast was low on protein, high on sugar. Only one working ice machine. Check-in staff was terrific. Overnight staff responded appropriately to my noisy neighbor problem the first night, but the second night left the spilled Big Gulp matter (not mine) I reported on the flooring near the working ice machine. Early in the morning I slipped and fell, in it, and returned placing a bath towel from my room on it. I had offered the night staff man when I reported it, but he implied I didn't need to, so I didn't. I'd stay there again for the price, and do something else for breakfast.
